What is the soft cap on DS2? ›

The softcap for Intelligence and Faith is 40, but it's worth it to take them to 50 to access the better Catalysts. In that game, there's a soft cap at 30 because your HP gain per level drops from ~30 to ~20. And then again there's another cap (most people would call it a "hard cap") at VIT = 50.

Given to the Old Ladies in Things Betwixt in order to reallocate soul levels. The soul level cannot drop below the base class stat and the Soul Vessel is consumed upon use.

Hexes deal dark elemental damage and offer a good balance of offensive spells and self-buffs. They are divided into two categories: Staff Hexes and Chime Hexes, and are unique in that respect. Dark Souls 2 Soul Vessel Usage

Give to Strowen in Things Betwixt and you will have the option to redistribute your Soul Level points. This item is a Consumable and thus one-time use. Does not allow the reallocation of base class stats. Only the points that the player has allocated can be reallocated.

you get 6 per playthrough. There are a few areas you can ascetic for soul vessels. If you like to cap SL, I would highly recommend against farming the giant lord area because that will skyrocket your soul memory.

Sunset Staff is the best hexes staff, but is not very good for sorceries. Staff of Wisdom is the best sorcery staff, but you can't cast any hex with it. There is also the Leydia Black Staff, that can be used to cast miracles. For sorcery the Staff of Amana is only good as long as you are in human form.

The soft cap for adaptability appears to be at 39. The Bandit begins with the lowest Adaptability at 3 and the Explorer starts with the highest Adaptability at 12. Adaptability 3-10 gives 2 points of Agility, 10-20 gives 7 points, 20-30 gives 8 points, 30-40 is 7 points, 40-99 is 7 points.

What does old iron crown do DS2? ›

Every two minutes the crown is equipped, 20% of spell uses will be restored. If all four crowns have been collected, and Vendrick's dialogue has been exhausted, wearing this crown will prevent the player from Hollowing upon death, though a Bloodstain containing their souls will still be left.

The soft cap for faith bonuses appears to be at 40 faith.

Soul Level in Dark Souls 2

Soul Level's value will increase upon investing a point into any stat. Level 838 is the highest attainable Soul Level, with all stats leveled to 99 and maximum Health at 2505.

However, killing Smough first will yield the Leo Ring, which is a useful ring for certain builds. For melee builds, using a weapon with good reach (such as a spear, halberd or a sword with a fast thrusting attack) will make it significantly easier to hit the bosses when they are near a pillar.

There are three level caps in Destiny 2: the soft cap, the Powerful cap, and the Pinnacle cap. For The Final Shape, those caps are: Starting power: 1900. Soft cap: 1940.

Level Cap. At the Soft Cap of Level 20 each character will have: + 15 attribute points, + 49 ability points (68 for Lone Wolf talent) and + 7 talent points. The max level is not 20, but rather a "soft cap".

It's not perfect, but DS2 is locked at 60FPS. Only the original version of Dark Souls on PC, which is no longer being sold, is locked at 30FPS and 720p internal render resolution (semi-fixable via modding) and will probably always be high on people's lists of games known for being bad PC ports.
