General Hospital’s ‘Legacy Is Set in Stone’ Now — Here’s Why (1)

Credit: Disney

It’s not every show that gets to be declared the longest running drama currently in production. In fact, we’re pretty sure that honor can only ever go to one show at a time! And after being on for 61 years, General Hospital currently (and hopefully will for some time) holds that honor. Not only that, but the show’s taken home the most Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Daytime Drama with 16 wins so far.
