This position is an amazing job opportunity for an Account Director with at least eight years’ experience in experiential marketing strategy, production and execution. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives under pressure, works well in a fast-paced competitive industry and is passionate about event production, execution, and logistics. The Account Director will be involved in leading and managing multiple projects/events simultaneously, at various stages of activation.
Responsibilities:
Excellent verbal & written communication, project management, and prioritization skills.
Management of respective local market and regional automotive industry marketing needs.
Direct management of 1-3 individuals including employee development and account team leadership
Present to automotive dealer groups with concepts and ideas that ladder into broader strategy
Lead research and development of experiential strategy for automotive client.
Attention to detail & and ability to multi-task.
Assist with load in/out, set-ups, and deliveries.
Consult and support logistics of multifaceted events, placing vendor/rental orders, ADA compliance, security, secure all applicable insurance and permitting as needed.
Help in the procurement of vendors and services as required.
Maintain and update standard operating procedures and emergency response documentation as required.
Manage product and brand ambassador training as applicable.
Identify opportunities for improved operation and service excellence, making recommendations for consideration.
Branding and fabrication plan creation, management, and execution.
Coordination of internal teams and external crews/vendors.
Manage the procurement, safeguarding, and utilization of all physical components of event activations.
Close coordination and management of appointed vendors and suppliers along with sourcing new vendors and managing the bidding process.
Create, manage and carefully track detailed event and operational timelines.
Post event recaps, reporting and measurement.
Ability and eagerness to travel up to 50% required.
Qualifications:
Ability to travel to approximately 75 on-site event days per year.
Manage internal and external staff on execution and delivery of programs.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in event marketing, showcasing service and team management at an experiential agency with an onsite production background.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in luxury automotive marketing and event industry.
Managing vendor relationships.
Ability to create and manage budgets.
Excellent computer skills that include Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
Strong manager with great planning, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to manage priorities and commitments and meet deadlines.
Excellent judgment with the ability to proactively identify issues/obstacles and effectively create solutions.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive and enjoy a fast-paced dynamic team work environment.
