I rarely get excited over an app, but there are some exceptions when I find one that’s addictive, personally useful and pays you to use it. This app is one of them.

Welcome to Shping! (“shh-ping” if you’re wondering).

I’ve been testing this app out for the last several months, and I have to say, I’m impressed with the results so far. It’s a great feeling to get money straight back into your bank account from something you typically might toss away, receipts!

So, without further ado, let’s get into the review.

What is Shping?

Shping is an app and platform that connects consumers with brands and rewards them for performing certain tasks and buying selected products.

What does that mean? Well, with Shping you can earn money by scanning & reviewing products, uploading receipts, and following the social media pages of brands. You can also receive a cashback on buying specific “booster” products.

Shping is available for Android and iOS (Apple) devices and works like a shopping companion for all retailers like Coles & Woolworths, IGA, The Reject Store, Kmart, Amazon and much more.

The app can also help you with your shop. You can create shopping lists and digitally store loyalty cards like Flybuys or Everyday Rewards to use at the checkout. Pretty handy!

Using Shping

How To Get Started

Getting started using Shping is super easy, and you can start earning within a few minutes.

Click to Join Shping!

  1. Get the App
First, you need the app to start. You can download Shping from this link or search for it on your phone’s App Store.
  2. Sign Up
After starting the app, you’ll eventually get to the sign-up screen. You can sign up with your email address or through a social media network.
  3. Watch Tutorials
Once you’re in the app, I highly recommend watching the tutorial videos. They not only show you how to use the app, but they also reward you with your first Shping Coins (and a good amount too!) You can find all the tutorials by clicking “Menu” on the navigation bar and then choosing “Video Tutorials”.
  4. Start Scanning
Now head to the shops or your pantry and start scanning your favourite items! Click the ‘+’ button on the home screen, then “Scan Barcode” . But don’t go too crazy, there are some limits in their Fair Usage Policy.
  5. Scan Your Receipt(s)
One of the fastest ways to earn is by scanning receipts. Shping accepts receipts up to 7 days old. So if you’ve been to buy groceries today, or in the last week, grab out your receipt and scan it!
  6. Review Products
Pick out some of your favourite products you love to use, scan them and write about why you love them! For extra coins, upload a photo of your item or even do a video review if you’re keen enough!

Shping Tips & Tricks to Earn More

From my time using Shping, I’ve picked up some tips to share to get the most out of the app. So I thought I’d share them with you DollarSeekers!

  • Add receipts via Loyalty Card screen.
If you’ve used a loyalty card with your purchase, I have to emphasise the importance of doing this. If you tap on a loyalty card in Shping, there will be a “Add Receipt” button. Uploading your receipts from this button will increase your Shping Karma, which you need if you want to level up faster.
  • Buy the “Coin Booster” items while on sale.
Each week, Shping adds a new lot of Coin Booster items. I highly recommend only buying the items already on special at the supermarket, especially if they are half-price. This will help you get some of those items extra cheap!
  • Earn Shping coins when the Shping Coin dollar value is lower.
The amount of coins you receive for completing tasks changes with the value of Shping Coin. That means you can earn more coins per task when the value has dropped.
  • Redeem Shping coins when the Shping Coin dollar value is higher.
To get the most money for your coins, the best time to cash out is when the crypto currency price has increased. You can watch the Shping Coin price here.
  • Check for missing booster coins.
Occasionally, the receipt scanner doesn’t recognise all the products on a receipt, or it mistakes them for another similar product. Make sure to check you have received points for all booster items and contact support if any are missing.
  • Forgot to Activate Booster.
I’ve done this a few times. If your receipt was just uploaded moments ago and hasn’t processed yet, you still have a small window to activate the boosters. Otherwise, might be a good idea to reach out to support.

Shping Review

I’ve been writing this article for a little while, and all through it, I’ve been in a battle with my word processor. It is convinced that what I really want to write is “Shipping”.

But I must concede, each time I see “Shping” I think... “Shipping” and that’s what I thought the app was called until I watched one of its tutorial videos.

Is that a problem? Not really, things have strange names all the time - take this blog as an example DollarSeeker... what a silly name!

I digress.

Regardless of the name, I cannot knock how rewarding Shping has been.

So far, I have withdrawn a little over $117 from the app and I have been using it for nearly 4 months. This does not include the $45 of Shping coins I am still yet to withdraw.

I have earned most of this money from a mixture of scanning receipts & barcodes and from coin boosters - which are a little like a cashback. While it takes a little extra time to scan a receipt or product and post the odd review here and there, to me, the reward of using Shping has outweighed the small amount of time to spend doing these things.

Shping has a level system that encourages you to complete different tasks (roughly 8 tasks per level). Leveling up is not too difficult. You can gain a couple of levels in a month or two. Currently, I’m on Platinum, the second highest level after 4 months. The reward for leveling up is an increased reward multiplier. At the highest level, you will receive 1.6x the points of basic level. This definitely makes it addictive.

That said, things aren’t always rosy.

I have had to contact support several times due to booster items on my receipt not being recognised and thus not receiving my “cashback” on them. Now, this isn’t entirely Shping’s fault. Supermarkets often have very vague descriptions of products which Shping tries (and sometimes fails) to figure out.

Despite those issues, the support team has been a pleasure to deal with. They have consistently resolved my booster coin issues within 2-3 days. But I do have to recommend that Shping users double-check that they’ve received all the coins owed to them.

The app lacks a little on the usability side as well. For example, If I receive a “like” on one of my reviews, there is nothing to click on to see the review that they liked and there’s also nowhere for me to see all the product reviews I’ve posted. Simple things that would make the app easier to use.

One thing that I’ve been avoiding in the app is the Shopping List feature. The reason is... it’s just a bit convoluted. I have used several shopping list apps and Shping has by far the most difficult to use.

In theory, the shopping list feature is impressive, it compares prices & shows you specials. You can divide your list into things you get “occasionally”, you can find things by name, barcode or category and it can give you separate lists for each supermarket to buy at to get the best prices. However, the shopping list interface lacks simplicity.

I’ve also had difficulty finding products I want. For example, “Coles Lite Milk” should be easy to find, but brings up no results. This is why I still continue to use a different app for my shopping list. I hope this feature improves soon.

However, there are many things about Shping that I love. One cool feature I recently found was that I can search for an old receipt for the products that are on them. This is great for checking an old price, or even for refund purposes!

I also love that you can withdraw Shping Coin directly to your personal bank account without going through the hassle of doing so through a third party like Coinbase (though this option is available if you want to).

Coin statements are a neat feature as well. I only wish that it showed a breakdown of the sources from which you earned the coins (boosters, receipts, etc..).

I could go on, but the fact is, I’m a little addicted to Shping now and I won’t visit a supermarket without using it. Overall, while it has some improvements to be made, it’s a great app to help you get some money off your shop and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Final Thoughts

Many “earning” apps turn out to be a bit of a waste of time, so I’ll be honest that I was initially sceptical about Shping. But now having used it for months, I’m so glad I tried it. I’ll be continuing to use it as part of my weekly shopping routine.

To be honest, when comparing other loyalty systems like Flybuys or Everyday Rewards, I’ve found Shping to be just as rewarding as those standard loyalty systems. I really hope the Shping continues to be as rewarding as it has been so far because I’d definitely recommend it!

Pros

  • The highest-paying receipt scanner I've personally used.
  • Diverse ways to earn coins and the level system makes it fun.
  • The shopping list compares prices at several retailers.
  • Cash-out directly to a Bank Account or CoinBase.
  • Active and helpful support.

Cons

  • The receipt scanner misses items occasionally.
  • Shping Coin value is volatile and can unexpectedly drop.
  • Difficult to access past reviews, and older scan history.
  • The referral system is a bit basic, with unclear rewards.
  • Karma system needs a clearer in-app explanation.
  • The shopping list feature is a little convoluted.

What Others Say

This review wouldn't be complete without some comments from around the internet to show what others thought.

"This app is one of the best apps to make money and also save money from stores. From my experience just scanning a couple of products which takes a couple minutes can earn like $2. This may not sound like much, but in reality all it takes is some scanning and you make easy money!" - waterpotato
"Doesnt have a help option to dispute receipts Downloaded for a specific promo product they were doing. Brought item from specified store. Uploaded receipt, no promo points Saw item needs to be mapped. No problem, mapped item. Still no points Item not showing as mapped. Option to map now gone. Other products I mapped were fine though..." - Jada Ching
"Some extra $$s for shopping, if you have the time and inclination. Just don’t wait too long between cash outs, the Shping funding is based on the crypto market so the value changes more often than a hot dinner and has sadly been on a downward trend for quite a while" - Gadgetgirl111111

Shping Questions

Is Shping Legit?

Yes. Shping is definitely a legit app that does pay. As mentioned at the outset, I have personally used Shping and requested several payouts to my bank account. So far all withdrawals have hit my bank within a few days.

Shping also works with several big brands and it's even been featured by news networks like Channel 9 and Sunrise. Shping is the trading name for Authenticateit Pty Ltd who are based out of Melbourne, Australia.

Finally, they have backing from an open community that you can connect with through your typical social media websites and Discord.

Is Shping Worth It?

Yes! Based on my own experience, I've earned roughly $100 in just over two months of using Shping. How much you earn will vary depending on your monthly withdrawal limit, the value of Shping Coin at the time and how actively you're taking advantage of the app's features.

Overall, adding Shping to your shopping routine doesn't require much time or effort to reap great benefits. But the more effort you put in, the more you will get out.

What ways can you earn with Shping?

Shping has several avenues for earning Shping Coins.

  • Scanning product barcodes.
  • Uploading store receipts.
  • Written or video product reviews.
  • Adding new unknown products.
  • Submitting missing product pictures.
  • Following promoted brands.
  • Watching product advertisem*nts.
  • Purchasing selected "booster" products.
  • Watching app tutorial videos.
  • Inviting friends.

The most rewarding of these is usually the uploading of receipts, followed by buying the coin "boosted" products of the week (which work more like a cashback)

How does Shping Karma Work?

Shping karma is a way Shping rewards its users for their honest & valuable input. It’s also a requirement to reach higher multiplier levels. All new users start with a score of 60 and the maximum karma you can have is 99.

You can earn karma through video reviews, uploading receipts via loyalty cards and receiving “likes” on your product reviews. The only way to lose karma is by abuse of the app, review system, or going beyond reasonable limits.

For more information, read about Shping karma.

Why do my earnings fluctuate?

If you're noticing the dollar value of your Shping Coin going up and down, don't panic! Shping Coin is a crypto-currency and its value fluctuates like many other crypto-currencies. This can actually allow you to earn more money by withdrawing at the right time.

You can watch the value of Shping crypto on websites like Coinbase. This will help you pick a good time to cash out.

What Receipts Can I Upload?

Shping accepts all valid Australian Tax Receipts from retailers. They can be physical receipts scanned through the app, or screenshots/PDF documents of digital receipts. I have even tested a screenshot of an email from a McDonald's purchase.

Is Shping Available Internationally?

No. Shping is currently limited to Australia. However, they have plans for a global launch in the near future.

What Does Shping Get Out of This?

This is a good question, I suggest reading over Shping's White Paper found on this page. It will give you a good overview of how Shping functions behind the scenes and what its goals are with all the data it's collecting.

Shping Alternatives

There aren't really any alternatives to Shping that I've come across that replicate its features. Instead, you might have to try some similar cashback apps.

  • ReceiptJar - Scan receipts for points
  • ShopBack
  • CashRewards
  • TopCashback

"What?! It's on sale now? I paid twice that last week!"

Yep, I'm sure we've all been there.

The fact is, it can be hard to guess when something is going on sale. Usually, for me the sale happens exactly when I wasn't intending to buy... and when I do want it, it's never on sale!

Turns out the creators of Fetchie had a similar issue when purchasing a new vacuum cleaner and decided enough is enough.

Fetchie is a new app designed to help casual shoppers & bargain hunters alike buy products at the right time and price. With it, you might just save yourself hundreds.

Let's dive in...

⚠️

Some fetchie features have changed since this review was written. This review will soon be updated to reflect those changes.

What Is Fetchie?

Fetchie is an app that helps you to score great prices on things you want to buy. It does this by watching the prices of your favourite items at your chosen stores. When the price drops, Fetchie will let you know.

Sounds great right? Well, there's more.

Fetchie also tracks price history so you know exactly when you’ve hit the right time to buy.

And if your shopping list is getting out of control, Fetchie will allow you to organise your fetch list by colour and hashtag.

Fetchie is available for Android, iOS (Apple), as a web app and soon as a browser extension. You can track up to 10 items for free, but you'll need to subscribe if you want to track more.

As Fetchie is a new app, it will be interesting to see how it continues to develop, especially its social features. But it's clear right now that it's a great app that bargain hunters can add to their arsenals.

How Does Fetchie Work?

At its core, Fetchie is a simple app that regularly checks the online price of a product. The developers have clearly spent some time simplifying the app's usability because it's very easy to use.

  1. Use your web browser to visit an online retailer you want to purchase from and locate the product you want to buy.
  2. Share that webpage with the Fetchie app using the browser's share button. (Alternatively, copy the URL and paste it into the app).
  3. Fetchie will "fetch" the product's information and start tracking the price.

At this point, all you have to do is wait for a notification to tell you the price has dropped, and then if you're happy with the price, just buy it.

There is also another useful feature, tracking the product's price history. This is useful for predicting the next half-price sale or if it's best to wait longer for the next deal.

How To Use Fetchie

As mentioned earlier, there are only a few steps required to add your products to Fetchie, however, I'll go through the whole process with you.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (3)

1. Install the App

Firstly you'll need to install the app on your device, so visit either the Google Play Store page (Android devices) or the Apple App Store page (Apple devices) and install it from there.

If you just want to use the web app, you can skip this step.

2. Sign Up

After the app is installed, you'll need to create an account before building your fetchlist of products.

Join Fetchie

This is pretty straight forward and the app will prompt you to do this. All you'll need is an email address to sign up.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (4)

3. Add a Product

At this point, your fetchlist will be empty, so it's time to track your first product. There are 3 ways you can add products:

  1. "Share & Forget" - Share the product page from your Internet Browser with Fetchie
  2. Paste the website page URL in the app.
  3. Scan a product's barcode.

Personally, I found #1 the most convenient. Use your web browser (such as Chrome/Safari) to find an item you want to buy from an online store. Next, click your browser's share button and select Fetchie to share with. Thats it!

Alternatively, you can copy the URL from the address bar and paste it into Fetchie.

The barcode scanner is good in case you're at the shops and see a product you want to stick a price watch on. However, the choices of retailers are limited with this feature.

Once you've done that the product information will be fetched and the price tracking will begin.

4. Price Track & Buy

Now sit back and relax while Fetchie keeps tabs on the price. If there is a price drop, you'll be notified either by push notification or email.

Over time, the price graph will show a history of rises and falls. With that knowledge, you can pick the best time to buy.

When it comes to everyday supermarket products, this is also useful for guessing the next time a regular household item might be going half-price allowing you to plan your shop accordingly.

5. Organize your products

If you intend on watching a whole bunch of products you will no doubt want to organise them into different categories.

Fetchie makes this easy with its tagging and colouring feature. You can create your own tags to organise your list.

Pricing

While Fetchie does have a free plan, it is limited to 10 products. If you want to monitor the price of more products, you'll need to switch to one of the paid plans. These currently are:

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (5)
  • Free Plan (Track up to 10 items)
  • $1.49/m Explorer Plan (Track up to 25 items)
  • $3.49/m Ultimate Plan (Track up to 100 items)

Review

I'm honestly impressed with Fetchie, it's much easier to use than I expected and it seems to work pretty well for the majority of products I added to my fetchlist. It's also a visually appealing app, and the cartoon dog is a nice touch that I'd like to see more of around the app.

I love that it has a price tracker and I can predict when a sale might be coming on a product. The ability to share a product page with the app to add it to your fetchlist is just brilliant.

However, Fetchie isn't perfect. It works for the majority of websites you'll probably be using, but there are some niche sites it may struggle with. Fetching information isn't always instant and sometimes the information can sometimes be incomplete/unavailable - even when updating prices from major supermarkets.

There is no browser extension yet which is a real bummer because the web app is generally really good, but at least you can paste page URLs for now.

A feature rather lacking is the ability to set the minimum discount for notifications. On some items, you really might only care if they reach a 40% or more discount, so that's something I'd like to see.

The product database really leaves much to be desired, as well as the retailer price comparisons which lack many popular retailers. But, you can expect this database to improve as time goes on. Since you can add almost anything anyway, the lack of selection in the database doesn't really stop you from tracking the products you want.

As for the limit of tracking 10 items for free, I think is somewhat fair... if you're tracking high-value or one-off purchases. But if you want to use it for your weekly shopping list, you might want to look elsewhere. You're just not going to fit your general shopping list within the free tier, especially if you're tracking the same item at multiple stores. You'd need to subscribe to perhaps the 25 or 100-item tiers.

Despite some of its flaws, it has heaps of potential and being a new app I have no doubt issues will be resolved in the near future.

Pros

  • Works well with most websites.
  • Share-to-add is a really easy way to build your fetchlist.
  • The price tracker helps you see the best time to buy.
  • Great shopping list organising features like tags and colours.

Cons

  • No browser extension is available yet.
  • The product database is relatively small & price comparisons only work on limited products and there are many popular stores missing.
  • The barcode scanner only shows a limited selection of retailers when scanning a product.
  • Lacks settings for when notifications should be sent.
  • May miss out on flash sales as prices are only updated every 24hrs.
  • Only free for 10 items.

What Others Say

Being a new app to the market, there isn't a lot of people talking about Fetchie just yet, but from what I did find is generally positive.

"The notifications are handy with the price drop alert feature, saves my time." - Shiny Sunny (Product Hunt)
"I used to check product price changes across various platforms. But, Fetchie is helping me to bring all these tracking together into a single place." - Sijoy Jose (Product Hunt)

Final Thoughts

Fetchie is honestly a great app with heaps of future potential. It works in more places than alternatives like Wispri and is rather nice to use. I don't care too much for the inbuilt database and would like to see some way to add retailers yourself for the purpose of price comparisons, but I'm sure these will improve.

I would highly recommend giving it a try for yourself and seeing how it works for you. If it saves you money, even better!

😀

Fetchie Alternatives

I wouldn't say there is an exact alternative to Fetchie, but there are some similar apps/websites you can look into.

  • Chestr - A Google Chrome browser extension to track prices.
  • Wispri - Another personal price tracker that has many similar features to Fetchie, though not as polished.
  • CamelCamelCamel - Track prices on Amazon.
  • LittleBirdie - Tracks retailer price drops and deals.
  • Dinosave - Track prices and sort wishlists all in Google Chrome.

FAQ

Is Fetchie free?

Yes and no, Fetchie is free to use for tracking up to 10 items. If you want to track more, the next tier of 25 items attracts a cost of about $1.49 per month. You can however expect these prices and/or plans to change in the future though.

Is Fetchie legit?

Yes, Fetchie is a legitimate price tracking app that helps you save money on the products you want by informing you of price drops.

Do I Have to Sign Up?

As Fetchie is a personal price tracker, signing up is required to start watching prices. Sign-up is simple though and doesn't require a credit card or anything like that.

How Do I Fix Incorrect Product Details?

Fetchie isn't perfect and it may get details wrong. If this has happened, you can report it to Fetchie.

To report, click on the product with the wrong information and then click or tap on the icon in the top right with an exclamation mark.

Fill out the form with the details of what is wrong and submit it.

Are Fetchie prices live? When does it update?

Fetchie updates prices daily, so it does not show the "live" price. This will save you from checking prices each day, but it does mean you might miss out on flash sales that occur between the times Fetchie updates the cost of your products.

What is a "Fetchlist"?

In Fetchie, a "Fetchlist" is simply your shopping list of products you want to track. Fetchie will update the prices daily on the items you've added to your Fetchlist. This list is displayed on the app's dashboard.

Is your back pocket hurting from all the games you've been buying? You're not alone. Playing games can be a bit of an expensive hobby. But, I've got a little virtual ice pack for you.

In this article, I'll share several easy ways that you can get some free games on GOG.com (aka Good Old Games).

What is GOG.com?

If you're a gamer and you've never heard of Good Old Games (GOG) before, you've probably been living under a rock! (Or just spending way too much time buried in your game backlog).

GOG is a digital distribution platform for video games (like Steam or the Epic Games Store) that offers an awesome library of classic and modern games to download.

It's been around a long time and originally began as a place to purchase updated classics from the 80s and 90s that work for modern PCs. These days it also offers many of the latest games as well as other unique content downloads you can't get elsewhere.

Ways to Get Free GOG Games

Firstly, I'd like to point out that there are no secret ways (at least that I know of!) to legitimately get all your wishlist games for free in a few clicks. GOG doesn't frequently give out free games, and usually, they aren't the very latest-released games either.

However, if you're open to playing some classic games or games different from your typical genre, you're going to be in for hours of fun.

So here are 6 ways you can acquire some free games on your GOG account.

1. GOG's Free Game Collection

By far this is the easiest and most straightforward way to find the free games that GOG offers. In fact, you're bound to find something that you'll like because there are heaps of classic and modern indie games you can get for free already in their store.

See the Free Games Collection

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (7)

Alternatively, you can search their store for all the free content by applying some filters: "Show only free games" & "Hide DLCs and extras" (as seen in the picture below). Applying these filters will show all the free games and game demos available to you.

See freebies on the GOG Store

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (8)

After going through those lists you might already have several games now added to your account to try, but let's look at some more ways to bag some free games.

2. Summer & Winter Events

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (9)

Like other platforms, GoG has regular sales throughout the year including summer and winter season events - which are some of the biggest sales of the year alongside Black Friday / Cyber Monday.

During these sales, GOG sometimes has some limited-time free game promotions which you can snap up. Keep an eye out for these sales and make you're subscribed to their emails so you'll be notified about them.

You can see how to make sure you're subscribed and read about the other great benefits of doing so here.

3. Reddit GameDeals

Another place to keep an eye on is the /r/GameDeals channel on Reddit.

This is one of the best places to go if you want to keep up-to-date with the latest and greatest gaming deals around the internet, including free promotions on GOG.com.

As these deals are crowd-sourced, so be sure to read the comments and check if the link posted is a legitimate GOG link or if there are any extra conditions.

4. GOG Community Key Giveaways

One easily overlooked place to find free games is the GOG Community forums. Members run giveaway topics where you can request one of the available game keys that have been graciously donated by other members.

Visit this forum and look for the giveaway threads in the list. Here is one such thread.

5. Buy Games with Earnings from Surveys

If you're looking to get free games on GOG.com without spending your own money but still want to aim for games you really want. There are several websites and apps that allow you to earn gift cards or money through PayPal by completing surveys or other small tasks.

Three great options are...

  1. PrizeRebelPrizeRebel is a survey website where you can complete surveys for gift cards or money through PayPal. You can start earning pretty much straight away and there is always a good selection of surveys to choose from.
  2. PureProfilePureProfile is another great choice for earning from surveys. They offer a better pay rate than others and you can get paid directly to your bank account!
  3. SwagBucks
One of the most popular sites for earning online is non-other than SwagBucks. They have different ways to earn, not just surveys and heaps of different rewards available!

Find more sites like these below!

6. Prime Gaming

If you happen to be subscribed to Amazon Prime, you have another avenue to score some occasional free GOG games (among other sites).

As an Amazon Prime subscriber, you'll gain access to Prime Gaming, a place where Amazon gives out free games weekly. Sometimes they give away redemption keys for games on GOG, so be sure to check for any new offerings each week.

Final Thoughts

I hope these methods of getting free GOG games have been helpful. While getting free games is awesome, you may not get the games you truly desire. My recommendation is if you can hold off from buying it, you will surely find a great discount in time.

You can save heaps by not buying games when they are released (as long as you don't spoil them by watching others play them! 😂). It'll be just as fun months or more later and maybe even less buggy as buying a game on release day.

If there are other ways you get free GOG games, be sure to shoot me an email and I'll add it to this list.

Thanks for reading!

Looking for a place to start earning extra money on the side? Look no further.

Survey websites are a great way to earn those few more dollarydoos. They can help to pay for that item you want or take the sting out of your next grocery/subscription bill.

You can easily make $20 or more each week without using up too much of your time. Some dedicated survey-takers (surveyians? 🤔) even claim to be making hundreds every month!

Keep in mind, survey sites will not replace a reliable income stream. You won't be getting rich from taking surveys, but they can help give a small boost to your budget.

But where can you start?

Well, I've compiled a list of 10 (plus a few bonuses) survey websites you can join now that are legitimate, that do pay, and are great choices for Australians.

If you're not from the land down under, you can still give some of these survey panels a go. Most of these sites allow registrations from around the world.

Oh, and be sure to read our list of survey-taking tips, they'll definitely help if you're getting started.

Enjoy.

Prolific

I want to start this list with one of my favourite survey websites, Prolific.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (13)

After trying many survey websites, I found Prolific to be one of the highest-quality sites around. Your opinion actually matters in these surveys.

Prolific doesn't dish out heaps of surveys to complete, in fact, you may only get a couple per week. This may not sound good at first, but when you do get surveys, they pay pretty well on average.

In 11 days of joining, I received 4 surveys which earned $10AU in total. They actually have a minimum hourly rate on surveys, which is rare to see.

Prolific's focus is on quality surveys and they have a higher expectation of their members.

In fact, there is a waiting list to be on the platform. I waited a week to get approved.

Despite the wait time to get on the site, I highly recommend trying it. Once you're in it's pretty good and you get some of the most varied surveys around.

Quick Details

Minimum Payout: £5.00
Earning Options: Surveys
Earning Potential: £6.00 p/h minimum.
Reward Options: PayPal

  • Clean mobile-friendly interface.
  • Low payout threshold of $5 GBP.

Cons

  • Identity verification and registration acceptance took a week.
  • Payouts are in Pounds and only processed on certain days.
  • No referral links for friends, or other earning methods.
  • Website only, no mobile app.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is a very popular survey website that has been around for quite some years and you will see why.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (14)

As mentioned, Swagbucks has been a kind of mainstay and has been considered one of the top sites to use to earn money online. Overall, it claims to have paid out over $830 million to members. Crazy!

SwagBucks often has many surveys you can complete as well as other opportunities to make money. You can take up offers like playing selected games and registering on other websites.

One thing to do when choosing a survey is to compare the points rewarded to the time the survey takes. Try to go with the most rewarding surveys first.

SwagBucks also offers a cashback program for shopping at certain stores. But, there are better cashback programs around than what they offer.

There are some extra ways to earn, including a trivia game called SwagBucks Live and SwagStakes where you can win points. You can also refer friends and get a sweet 10% of their point earnings.

The minimum withdraw amount depends on the reward you want to redeem. There are options for Paypal, Amazon, Dan Murphys, Starbucks, Foot Locker and heaps more.

The smallest eGift Card is 300SB for a $3 Amazon gift card. You could earn this simply by registering!

Overall, Swagbucks is definitely a great site to be on for variety.

Quick Details

Minimum Payout: $3.00
Earning Options: Surveys, Games, Offers, Cashbacks, Referrals & more.
Earning Potential: $0.10 - $2.00+ per survey.
Reward Options: PayPal, Amazon & various gift cards.

Pros

  • Lots of surveys to complete.
  • Many payout options including eGift Cards for stores.
  • Other ways to earn with offers and games.
  • Daily goals.
  • Cashback program.

Cons

  • The mobile app is unpolished.
  • High chance of not qualifying for many surveys.
  • Survey quality can be poor and repetitive.
  • Can pay less than other survey sites available.

Toluna Influencers

Toluna is another popular survey website where its members "inspire change in real-time and get rewarded for it".

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (15)

Toluna has a lot of supporters and over 20 million members worldwide. It's easy to see why, it's fun, has plenty to do and has some of the best reward options around.

The website is very simple to use. You can choose what type of survey you want to attempt from 3 categories: Priority Surveys, Quick Surveys and Premium Surveys. All offer different amounts of points.

A quick survey can offer around 4,000 points whereas a premium survey can offer about 12,000 points. To put that in perspective, a $12 Spotify eGift Card costs 35,500 points - not too bad.

When you're done with surveys, you can try out the polls, community contests and games on offer.

These points can be redeemed for a heap of great rewards. Options include Paypal, eGift cards for Coles, Anaconda, Bunnings, Netflix, Spotify and loads more.

Quick Details

Minimum Payout: $10.00
Earning Options: Surveys, Polls, Games, Competitions & Referrals.
Earning Potential: $0.50 - $4.00+ per survey
Reward Options: PayPal, Spotify, Coles, Fexi eGift Cards

Pros

  • Clean simple mobile-friendly website.
  • Different ways of earning are available including Games.
  • Different levels of surveys are offered.
  • Rewards for Australian brands including Coles, BWS & Bunnings.

Cons

  • Surveys with filled quotas are sometimes still shown.
  • Points can take a while to credit from instantly to up to 6 weeks.
  • Some questions can be repetitive.

PureProfile

PureProfile is a popular survey website and another one of my favourites. According to PureProfile statistics, it's most popular in New South Wales.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (16)

Based in NSW, PureProfile is a little less popular than other survey sites. It has just over 1 million members but has given out over 1.5 million rewards to them.

Unlike the previous survey websites, PureProfile uses a concept of a feed and "activities" you can complete. Your feed fills up with different activities you can complete and these activities can either be paid surveys or unpaid questions to build your profile.

Paid activities I've seen can range from $0.10 - $12.00 or more, but this largely depends on the activity length.

Data from surveys conducted through PureProfile have appeared in various articles and news websites, such as KidsSpot.

In my experience, I've been able to earn $20.00 per week from PureProfile alone. The majority of surveys are around the $1 - $4 mark. So $20.00 is easily attainable in order to redeem a reward.

Reward options can vary, however, PureProfile is one of the few that allows you to link your Bank Account to receive money directly. Other options include movie tickets and Flexi Gift Cards which can be converted into various other store gift cards.

Quick Details

Minimum Payout: $20.00
Earning Options: Surveys & Referrals.
Earning Potential: $0.10 - $4.00+ per survey.
Reward Options: PayPal, Bank Transfer, Flexi Gift Card

Pros

  • Mobile-friendly website with a simple activity feed.
  • Uses a real money balance rather than points.
  • Most surveys have a decent pay rate.
  • $20 Refer-A-Friend bonus is great.
  • Bank Transfer is a great option.

Cons

  • Some surveys turn out longer than estimated.
  • Can run out of surveys to take.
  • High minimum payout threshold of $20.00
  • Takes up to 5 business days to receive a gift card redemption.
  • Support is slow to respond.

OctopusGroup

OctopusGroup is trying to set a new bar for survey panels by being one of the highest-paying panels of them all.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (17)

OctopusGroup is an Australian-owned ISO 20252 certified survey panel that wants to shake the survey industry up. They're doing this by aiming to be one of the higher-paying survey panels around. As of 2021, they have paid over $4.3 million to members.

If you like sites like Prolific, Octopus Group falls into the same area of premium survey panels. They pride themselves on quality surveys and data for their clients.

Surveys provided cover with all sorts of interesting subjects. Though they have a minimum required balance of $20.00 to cash out, their surveys pay quite well.

The only difficulty is that there aren't a lot of surveys going around. Filling out your profile is crucial to giving you the best chance of getting surveys.

Once you get to that $20.00 mark, you have a few options. They offer bank transfers, eGift Cards or to donate to charity. They do not offer PayPal unfortunately.

Lastly, OctopusGroup offers a great referral program. They give you $1 for referring someone and $1 for each survey they complete up to $19. Some dedicated members have earned thousands in referrals alone!

Quick Details

Minimum Payout: $20.00
Earning Options: Surveys & Referrals.
Earning Potential: $1.00 - $7.00+ per survey.
Reward Options: Bank Transfer, eGift Cards, Charity donations.

Pros

  • Good pay rates for surveys.
  • A simple mobile app is available.
  • Interesting variety of surveys.
  • Bank Transfer available.

Cons

  • Not many surveys to take.
  • Their mobile app can be a bit buggy.
  • Higher minimum payout threshold of $20.00.
  • No PayPal option.

PrizeRebel

PrizeRebel is a popular site you'll find on many lists. It is trusted and has been around for a long time.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (18)

If you want to have several survey panels housed under one roof, PrizeRebel does just that. They have partnered with 8 different survey panels including Toluna, YourSurveys, OpWorld and more to ensure you always have surveys on hand.

PrizelRebel is really easy to sign up with and the redemption process is just as easy. PrizeRebel uses a point system and has several avenues of earning including loads of offers from several Offerwall providers as well contests.

The minimum needed to cash out is a cool $2.00. In fact, if you joined now, and did several surveys I wouldn't be surprised if you're redeeming your $2.00 or $5.00 within a few hours from now.

PrizeRebel pays pretty quickly, so if you need a few dollars fast, you shouldn't have an issue doing that there. They also have one of the biggest ranges of eGift Card options I've seen, quite similar to SwagBucks.

Quick Details

Minimum Payout: $2.00
Earning Options: Surveys, Offers, Contests & Referrals.
Earning Potential: $0.5 - $2.00 per survey.
Reward Options: PayPal, Amazon, Coles, Officeworks, and various eGift Cards.

Pros

  • Lots of survey options to choose from.
  • Great range of reward options.
  • Fast redemption process.
  • Good range of earning options.

Cons

  • Pays lower amounts per survey.
  • A number of surveys may not be applicable to you.
  • The website isn't as mobile-friendly as it could be.
  • No mobile app.

SurveyTime

SurveyTime boasts a new and different way to get paid for surveys that reward you (almost) instantly!

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (19)

SurveyTime is a new take on traditional survey panels. It pays you a flat rate of $1.00 USD for every survey you take. Pretty cool.

Technically though, they actually do offer $0.50 USD cent surveys as well.

The best thing about SurveyTime is, you get paid straight after completing the survey, there's no minimum balance to build, just an instant payment to your PayPal, Amazon or even Bitcoin wallet.

SurveyTime is super simple to sign up with and the website is clean and full of silky-smooth animations. They also have a mobile app too which is just as good.

If you're looking for a quick dollar, it's hard to go past SurveyTime. It also beats many other survey sites that pay less than $1.00 per survey. I'd always check here first before doing any survey worth less than $1.00.

Quick Details

Minimum Payout: $0.50
Earning Options: Surveys
Earning Potential: $0.50 - $1.00
Reward Options: PayPal, Amazon, Bitcoin

Pros

  • Simple to use.
  • Really nice looking site & mobile app.
  • No minimum balance requirements.
  • Consistent fast payment.
  • Bitcoin Option.

Cons

  • It's still $1 for really long surveys.
  • You don't know how long a survey is till you start.
  • You only get sent 1 survey at a time.
  • Lots of email alerts.

OpinionWorld

OpinionWorld is another solid choice. It is an Australian-only survey panel and has a few different offerings.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (20)

According to their website, OpinionWorld pays out some $470,000 to their members and hosts some 2 million surveys every month. It is backed by Dynata, a global leader in data insights that is behind several survey panels.

OpinionWorld has a few differences from some of the other common survey panels around. First, it has a loyalty system that rewards you for remaining active on the website and completing surveys.

Secondly, though I haven't personally been invited to any, they claim to also offer opportunities to do product testing as well as advert reviews and physical tasks called "missions".

To me, OpinionWorld sits around the mid-section of survey panels. They pay a little better than others and they have a cashout threshold that isn't too high but isn't that low either.

OpinionWorld has two good cashout options, a Flexi eGift Card which offers you many choices at various retailers and also a PayPal cashout option.

Overall, OpinionWorld is an okay panel to have around to keep your options open for more surveys.

Quick Details

Minimum Payout: $10.00
Earning Options: Surveys, Product Tests
Earning Potential: $0.50 - $3.00 Per Survey
Reward Options: PayPal, Flexi eGift Card

Pros

  • Better per survey payouts than other competitors.
  • Low-ish cash-out threshold.
  • Loyalty badge system.

Cons

  • Points expire from inactivity.
  • Some users have reported customer service difficulties.
  • No mobile app available.

Purkle

Purkle is a little less-known survey site based in Australia and is only open to those living in Australia.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (21)

While Purkle is lesser known, it has been around for some time and was previously known as Nine Rewards.

Purkle places importance on profile matching for surveys. Because of this, you will receive fewer surveys than sites like Swagbucks or Prize Rebel. However, the surveys you do receive are more tailored to your interests.

Personally, I receive about 2/3 surveys per week to around the value of $5. Some users have reported earning over $200 per year with Purkle.

It's not going to replace any income, but it's a nice way to earn yourself a little extra to buy a treat.

Purkle doesn't allow you to cash out money with Paypal or to your bank, but you can redeem your virtual balance as eGift Cards or put it towards a couple of other ticket options which is nice.

One cool thing Purkle offers is a quarterly Visa Gift Card prize draw. You can earn entries into the draw by completing surveys.

While I wouldn't consider Purkle to be a leader in the pack of survey sites, I would put it somewhere around the middle. Not the best, but good to have around if you've exhausted your better options.

Quick Details

Minimum Payout: $16.50 (Hoyts Movie Voucher) / $20 for Purkle eGift Card
Earning Options: Surveys, Focus Groups, Prize Draws
Earning Potential: $0.20 - $3.50+ Per Survey
Reward Options: Flexi eGift Card, Hoyts Movie Voucher, Ticketek Gift Card

Pros

  • Higher pay per survey than sites like Prize Rebel / SwagBucks.
  • Nice selection of options for the eGift Card.
  • Can refer friends and family.
  • $1 reward for completing your profile.

Cons

  • The dashboard is a bit outdated looking.
  • Fewer surveys than other providers.
  • No PayPal or direct transfer options.
  • Limited earning opportunities.

Survey Junkie

To finish off this list, I've picked Survey Junkie, it's popular and simple to use.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (22)

You'll often find Survey Junkie mentioned when discussing survey panels, mainly because of its popularity. Survey Junkie boasts over 10 million members! So just a few.

Its popularity is for good reason, it's a well-polished service and it's easy to use. However, I wouldn't consider it to be a high-paying survey website. Most surveys pay less than $1.00 with a few exceptions. This puts it more on the same level as PrizeRebel and SwagBucks.

Survey Junkie does offer a large number of surveys, however with many surveys, I've found that I get screened-out of a number of them despite having my profile filled out.

Another earning opportunity Survey Junkie has is called "Survey Junkie Pulse" which is a browser extension that shares your internet browsing information to help you get more targeted surveys.

Something I do really like about Survey Junkie is its low threshold on payouts. You only need to accrue 500 points on your account to cash out $5.00.

Survey Junkie offers PayPal as a payout option, which is excellent. But if you're in the USA you'll have some more options to choose from.

Lastly, Survey Junkie does have an app for both Android and iOS. I tried to use the Android app, however, found it wasn't available in Australia.

Quick Details

Minimum Payout: $5.00 (USD)
Earning Options: Surveys, Focus Groups
Earning Potential: $0.10 - $2.00+ Per Survey
Reward Options: PayPal (AU), eGift Card (USA), Bank Transfer (USA)

Pros

  • Polished & visually appealing website.
  • Low payout threshold.
  • A good number of available surveys.
  • Has an affiliate program.

Cons

  • The mobile app wasn't available in Australia.
  • A number of surveys may not be applicable to you.
  • Limited earning opportunities.
  • Limited cashout options for Australians.

Bonus Mentions

Of course, the previous list is not a complete list by any means. There is a load of survey websites around the world that accept participation from Aussies. If you're looking for just a few extra, here are some to check out!

  • ValuedOpinions
Another popular survey panel with good reward options. Also from Dynata who is the company behind OpinionWorld.
  • Life Points Panel
Life Points is another good contender that has been around for some time and has a solid backing from its users.
  • OpinionPioneer
This survey panel orders surveys in the highest paying order. Also has a lower payout threshold.

Undoubtedly, the temptation of earning a lot of money within minutes of installing a new app is enormous. Who doesn’t want easy money?

Don’t be fooled. Apps that claim to pay you hundreds for a few minutes of playing games, watching videos, reading, and whatever else, in my experience, are always fake.

As the saying goes: if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

This time I’m having a brief look at another new pop-up app – Cashyy Tube. I’ll share a small tour of how the app looks and how it works.

If you’ve landed on this Cashyy Tube review wondering “Is Cashyy Tube real or fake?”, I’ll tell you straight up now — It’s a fake.

⚠️

This review applies only to the app called "Cashyy Tube". The app known as just "Cashyy" is unrelated and should not be confused with this app. Please compare the screenshots below if you are unsure.

What is Cashyy Tube?

Cashyy Tube is an app for Android that markets itself as a way to earn money and prizes quickly by playing games, watching videos, reading news, and opening random gift boxes.

Cashyy Tube was created by “Team Kolala”. However, this is likely just one of the many names used by the same developers behind many of these fake cash apps.

The advertisem*nts for Cashyy Tube make extraordinary claims: that with this app you can earn hundreds of dollars within minutes just by doing those aforementioned tasks.

People have downloaded this app over 1 million times from the Google Play store. It requires at least Android 8.0 (Oreo) or above to install.

Cashyy Tube is listed as an “Early Access” app, thereby hiding true user feedback.

Is Cashyy Tube Legit or a Scam?

Cashyy Tube is a fake GPT (Get-Paid-To) app that will not pay you a cent. Cashyy Tube does not pay real money, or anything else.

As some users have experienced first-hand, Cashyy Tube does not pay, even after paying the transaction fee.

It follows the same recipe as many other fake apps like TikTube, VicTube, WowTube, etc. and is likely developed by the same Hong Kong-based company.

If you've installed this app and have been bitterly disappointed by it, don't despair. There are ways to make money online, but this app is not one of them.

Review

When I opened Cashyy Tube for the first time, I was surprised.

The interface is getting more polished and flashy every time I see a newer variant of this scam.

This edition of the app allows you to earn coins by watching short videos, looking at a (single) webpage, and a News tab that shows you a list of games instead 🤔.

None of that actually matters though, because the coin earnings come mainly from watching the advertisem*nts.

There is also a “Gift” tab in the app. It’s like a prize-winning simulator where you can win nothing that’s tangible.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (24)

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (25)

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (26)

Every 30 seconds or so a pop-up appears awarding bonus coins. You have a choice. Take it as is or double it by watching an ad.

These options also don’t matter, you’ll be forced into an ad anyway. Might as well double the coins and watch a video. The horror will be over soon!

As you reach 5000 coins, your rewards for watching videos will come to an almost screeching halt. Videos that paid you 500 coins before will be paying you less than 1 coin.

This is all to push you to keep watching as many advertisem*nts as possible before cashing out becomes available.

Upon hitting 5000 coins, your joy will shortly turn into disappointment and then to bitterness.

At first, they'll make you feel like your money is being processed. Then they'll give you 72hrs to watch 30 more videos or else you'll lose all the money you redeemed.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (27)

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (28)

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (29)

The developers want to make money out of you as fast as possible, so to hurry that up, they even let you forgo the 30 videos and give you the opportunity to pay them a transaction "fee" directly instead!

Funny that.

Unfortunately, if you’ve become a victim of this app, they don’t have a proper contact page where you can unleash your rage, just a link to a YouTube video with comments disabled and a random email address on the Google Play store which they’ll probably never respond to.

Bottomline

Cashyy Tube is another fake cash app that won't pay you anything. Please don't waste your time lining their pockets, uninstall it.

Most importantly, don't pay the transaction/service fee Cashyy Tube requests, you will only lose money.

Fake cash apps like Cashyy Tube are always being released under new names and with new gimmicks. The sole purpose of apps like this and its other variants is to make a quick buck for the developers.

However, there are usually indicators that give them away, so it's key to learn what these indicators are, are so you don't get taken for a ride.

Spot The Fake

You can save time and money by knowing key factors to spot fake cash apps. Check if it...

  • Advertises that you can earn a lot of money quickly.
  • Is an "Early Access" app on the app store.
  • Asks for money so you can get your money.
  • Has no proper channel of contact/support.
  • Is a scam by searching the app name with Google.

If the app hits any of those notes, you may be looking at a fake app, so proceed with caution.

Real Alternative Apps

If you've unfortunately been trying to make money with Cashyy Tube, I suggest uninstalling it. Try some proven legitimate apps that actually do pay.

  • MistPlay
  • Money RAWR
  • JustPlay

Better yet, try some survey websites such as PureProfile or SurveyTime. These generally pay better for your time than apps that pay you to play games.

Over the years, I’ve bought a number of internet domains for various projects and I’ve wasted a bit of money in that process because I wasn’t always looking for the best deals at the time.

While domains are typically the cheaper part of the costs of running a website, it is still an ongoing cost that will add up over the years.

So if you’re trying to keep your domain purchases and renewal costs low, this guide is for you. I’m going to share some of my tips and places to buy and renew domains to save money, even if it’s just a dollar or two, it all counts!

If you’re reading this article, likely you already know what an internet domain is, so I’m not going to explain that here.

How you think about your domain matters when it comes to saving money.

Some people say that domains are like a form of digital “real estate”, and in some ways, it is.

When you buy a domain, it’s like leasing a piece of land. You can do what you like with it, but with the bonus of being able to sell it at the end. However, as long as it’s in your possession, you’ll need to keep paying to have it.

The fact is, if you want to save money on your domain you need to be proactive. If you leave it as set-and-forget (which domain registrars love) you’ll be missing out on money you could have saved.

I hope you find this article helpful and informative to help you save when buying or renewing your domains.

Things to Avoid

First up here are some tips to consider when first buying a domain. It's important to consider these as they can greatly affect how much you pay in the future to transfer or keep it.

  • Avoid transfer "from" fees or unlocking fees
Some domain registrars attempt to lock you in by charging a fee to transfer your domain to another registrar. Or they may charge a fee to "unlock" your domain so that it can be transferred.

👉

What is Domain Locking/Unlocking?
Domain locking is an optional security feature offered by most domain registrars to prevent unauthorized people from transferring your domain to another registrar. Put simply, it prevents someone from hijacking your domain. Before transferring a domain, a locked domain must first be unlocked.

  • Privacy protection at a fee
If the registrar you're looking at charges you a fee to activate WHOIS privacy protection, you may want to keep looking. There are registrars out there who include this feature as standard.
  • Premium DNS Addons
While there are cases where you might want a premium DNS (Domain Name System), such as when connection speed is critical, most personal websites will not see much of a real benefit from this addon. If you don't specifically have a need for it, there is no need to purchase a premium DNS with your domain.
  • Expensive TLD's (Domain Endings)
Not all domains are valued the same. Some domain endings, e.g. .com, .net, .org a very popular and have very competitive pricing. Less common, subject-based domains can cost more, however.
  • "For Sale" domains
Have you ever typed in your desired domain name and it comes up with a page that says it's for sale? It might be tempting to buy it, but it can usually cost hundreds, if not thousands, to acquire. Unless you really really really need that domain name, it's just easier and cheaper to come up with an alternative name.
  • Settling with your Registrar
Don't settle with your domain registrar and pay the renewals year after year without first checking the competition. Renewal discounts don't come up often with many registrars, so it does take some effort to transfer the domain. If your domain renewal is cheaper elsewhere, why not change? Just remember that it's best to do this at least a month before your renewal is due.

Tips to Keep your Domain Cheap

Now that we've covered things to avoid that make domains more expensive, here's my list of tips and tricks to keep your domain ownership cheap initially and year after year.

  • Free domain with hosting
When you're just starting your website, you typically need to buy some sort of hosting. Many hosting services offer a free domain with the purchase of hosting. This is a perfect way to begin and get a free domain, but be careful there aren't any hidden fees to transfer your domain away before that year is up!
  • Buy the first year cheap
If you only need a domain, try to find the cheapest first-year price around. Sometimes you can find ridiculously cheap domains under $1 for the first year. Usually, the renewal cost will be high, but as long as you can transfer your domain away at no cost before your renewal date, you're in a win-win scenario.

⚠️

Be careful not to get tricked into buying a domain with an expensive ending. Even if they are cheap the first year, some domain endings can be expensive no matter where you transfer them! Check with domain comparison sites to see what the renewal cost is at the lowest point before committing.

  • Wait for Black Friday/Cyber Monday
If you can hold out for your purchase or renewal until this time, you can find some great deals floating around that are never given at any other time of the year.
  • Do yearly checks and transfer
Don't wait until there are 4 days left to renew your domain! It'll likely be too late to transfer it. I recommend at 30 days before your renewal, start hunting around for the best deal you can find. When you find it, start the transfer process. If you use comparison sites, it should only take 10-15 minutes to find a great deal.
  • Don't forget about it!
It's so easy to forget about domain renewals, especially when you've ticked "auto-renewal". Set a reminder some 30 days before your next renewal so you have a chance to shop around for the best deal. Don't rely on the registrar to tell you when the renewal is coming up.

Where to Compare Domain Prices?

With so many domain registrars around, how on earth can you find the cheapest ones for your next purchase or renewal? Luckily, there are some great sites that make this job easy, check out one or both of these!

DomComp

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (31)

Built by 3 London friends, DomComp is crazy simple to use. Just type in your domain ending (such as ".com"), choose if you are buying, renewing or transferring a domain and it'll show you the pricing list of the top 3 cheapest websites. As a bonus, they also have customer reviews of some of the registrars which you can see on the Reviews page.

TLD-List

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (32)

A favourite of many people, TLD-List is a comparison site for Top-Level domains. It checks over 50 registrars to find which providers have the cheapest domain sale prices and renewal prices for over 3000 Top-Level Domains! It even saves you from hunting for working coupon codes by showing you which codes you need.

Cheap Places to Buy Domains

In addition to the comparison website above, you might simply want to know where you can typically get good prices. I've selected several sites below which I've known to have great prices at different times.

  • Cloudflare
When it comes to renewing common TLD's like .com, it's hard to go past Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers renewals at wholesale prices. I've found it to be up to $10 cheaper than other popular registrars. I personally use Cloudflare for renewing several of my domains as I simply haven't found better prices worth transferring for.

⚠️

DNS Gotcha
Cloudflare only allows you to use their DNS unless you pay for a business subscription, which will give you access to custom name servers. So if you need to point your domain elsewhere, this solution may not be right for you.

  • NameCheap
NameCheap is one of the most popular domain registrars around. While they offer a lot of services, domains are their focus. While NameCheap isn't generally always the cheapest, I have found they run good promotions now and then where you can pick up new cheap domains. Even when it comes to renewal, you can occasionally find coupons (such as with Honey) to reduce the cost. They typically run their best promos around Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
  • PorkBun
Once you get past the funny name and the amusing pig illustrations on the website, you'll find PorkBun has some of the cheapest prices around. It's definitely worth a look. Sometimes they even do a year free!
  • Sav
Another common site that often appears when looking for rock-bottom domain prices is Sav. Some of their prices are hard to go past.

At the end of the day, there will always be a cost to keep a domain. How much that is... depends on how savvy you are at always nabbing the best deals as they come.

Don't forget to be proactive and keep those eyes peeled!

<![CDATA[Money RAWR (App Review) - Legit Easy Money?]]><![CDATA[Money RAWR claims to pay you to play games. In this review, I'll share my experience and answer the common questions: Is it legit? How much does it pay?]]>https://dollarseeker.net/money-rawr-app-review/65ca3734a85ce00a88842d20<![CDATA[Earning]]><![CDATA[App]]><![CDATA[Android]]><![CDATA[Reviews]]><![CDATA[GPT]]><![CDATA[Seeker J]]>Tue, 31 Jan 2023 01:56:08 GMT<![CDATA[<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (33)

There are a lot of "Get Paid To" (GPT) apps out there to use, especially so for earning from playing mobile games. Understandably, it's hard to pick which ones are actually worth your time.

So today I’m reviewing another app called Money RAWR which claims to pay you to play games and complete other small tasks.

In this review, I'll be discussing what Money RAWR is, how to start using the app and what you need to do to earn.

I'll also be answering questions like: Is Money RAWR real or fake? Does it really pay and how much money does it pay?

Let's begin!

What is Money RAWR?

Money RAWR is a GPT (Get-Paid-To) app for Android that allows you to earn monetary rewards for playing selected games or completing small, somewhat easy-ish tasks.

If you've used other game apps like MistPlay or JustPlay, the idea is pretty much the same.

Money RAWR was created by the Money Rawr Company. It is free to download from the Google Play Store and you don’t need to pay anything to start earning money with it.

As of writing, it has a rating of 4.2 and over 5 million downloads. So that's not too bad!

If you’re hoping to find an app for your iPhone, I’m afraid you'll have to keep looking. This one is for Android only.

Getting Started with Money RAWR

As mentioned earlier, you can download Money RAWR from the Google Play Store. All you’ll need is a device running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or newer. The first thing you’ll need to do is install the app.

Download Money RAWR

After installing, you will need to accept the Terms of Service and register an account.

Registration is pretty simple. You can use your existing Facebook or Google account or you can register with your personal email address. They will also ask for some extra information, including your age and gender, as you will see below.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (34)

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (35)

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (36)

You will receive a request to grant Money RAWR permission to track your app usage. You don’t need to worry though, this is a standard for apps like these which reward you based on using other apps.

Once you’re all registered and permissions allowed, you are ready to start earning immediately by downloading some of the suggested games.

How to Earn with Money Rawr

With Money Rawr, you earn "coins" for the successful completion of a task. Earning comes through about 4 different methods.

  1. Playing Games
By playing the suggested games, you earn coins either by completing a level or for the amount of time you play a game. Note that the longer you play games, the amount you earn from them decreases.
  2. Completing Offers
Money Rawr has an "offerwall" (run by Digital Turbine). Offers can include: playing games, installing apps, signing up for new services or doing surveys/quizzes.
  3. Surveys
You can also earn coins by completing surveys. Surveys are provided by BitLabs.
  4. Referring Friends
Money RAWR offers a referral program where you can earn 25% of all the coins your friends earn.

Once you earn enough coins, you can redeem your earned coins for real money, or vouchers at particular retailers.

👉

Offers & Surveys were not initially available after installing the app. These methods became available after several days of usage.

Money RAWR Rewards

Money RAWR offers different rewards based on your location. In Australia, at the time of writing, the only real money reward available is PayPal.

You can also purchase discounts for different retailers such as Nike, VetSupply, Windsor Smith, Pharmacy Online, etc. However, these only appeared a couple of weeks after I had started using Money RAWR.

My Experience

It took a little while to decide how I felt about Money Rawr. I say this because several days after I had been using it, the entire way of earning changed.

Initially, upon registration, I was greeted with a bonus of 4499 coins (A value of about $0.60 worth). While this doesn’t appear to be much, it is very close to the minimum threshold of a cash-out, so in my opinion, this was a decent bonus for just installing the app.

The first Paypal redemption tier was $0.67, which required 4999 points, so I only needed 500 to get my first payout.

Looking at the list of games to play, there was only 1 available. Yes, just one game.

I downloaded it, then low and behold, two games appear!... After downloading those, more games appeared again. It was a bit of a strange system, but I was happy to see more variety than just a single game.

At this stage, most of the featured games were paying out a little over 100 coins per minute of play. This, however, changed later. I’ll explain in a moment.

After collecting enough for a payout, the experience of cashing out was a little strange. Money Rawr opens an in-app web-browser displaying the PayPal login screen.

To me, this is very odd. There is no way to verify that the PayPal website you’re seeing is legit or a phishing attempt. I wasn’t going to take chances, so I decided to use my alternative PayPal account.

It turns out Money RAWR wants to link it to your PayPal account to accept payouts (like a subscription service does). This is different to most other apps and services I’ve tried, which usually just send money to a PayPal email address.

Immediately afterwards, I was notified by PayPal that there had been “unusual” activity on my account and it forced me to change my password. I wasn’t the first to get this. I saw reviews from people saying the same thing.

I had doubts about the legitimacy of the app at this point until several hours later; I received both payments. There was no more suspicious activity on the account as well - whew!

This is where things change. I stopped using Money RAWR for a few days. Later, when I re-opened it, the whole method of earning changed.

All new games were paying coins per level completed, not time. All the apps I had previously installed that paid per minute had their coin rates drop dramatically. There was an Offerwall available and a new surveys category available too.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (37)

The change was bittersweet. All the new options for earning were great, but I sure missed the time-based earning.

Despite those things, I found the app pretty easy to use and navigate. I like that the app shows your earning history and payout history. It’s a good way to verify you’re receiving coins.

Only once did I have a problem with not being credited with coins for playing several levels of Tile Garden, but that could have been my fault for not launching it through Money RAWR.

Money RAWR also shows you which apps you’ve installed and the rate/earning method, so it is transparent in that regard.

Money RAWR has a referral system where you can get 25% of all your friend’s coins, which is a neat feature.

I was able to earn and get payouts relatively quickly. Its minimum payment threshold is low enough to make you feel you can actually earn a little something.

I probably put in under 10 hours into actually playing the games offered, so I only earned a few dollars in total.

About the pay, however, consider this - Farm Hero Saga is offering me 107 coins/level. I need 4999 coins to get $0.67. If it took me 3 minutes to complete a level and maybe watch an ad, it would take me a little over 2 hours to earn that.

If that’s anything to go by, this is a very low earner. For that reason, can only recommend this app if you need to make a quick dollar.

It’s definitely not the worst app of this type, but I wouldn’t consider it great either.

Bottomline

Money RAWR is a legit GPT app that does pay. It’s simple to use and navigate, though it does require registration and linking to your PayPal account, which I wasn’t a fan of.

Realistically, if you’re serious about earning online, the pay really isn’t worth the time you need to put into the games. But if you just like to play games and don’t care too much about the time involved, you can earn a little something back with this.

Money RAWR is average at best and not an app I would recommend for ongoing earning.

Common Questions

Is Money Rawr Legit?

Yes, Money Rawr is a legit GPT (Get Paid To) app that really pays for you to play games and complete offers.

I personally was able to cash out 3 times. My total earnings were only $1.36, but I had no issues redeeming my points through Paypal. As you can see, don’t expect to earn much from doing so.

How Much Can I Earn With Money Rawr?

Don’t expect much. The money-to-time ratio is poor, however, if you’re simply looking to earn several dollars per week, it's possible with Money RAWR.

Note that if you prefer to save your points for higher payouts, there are small discounts on the required points for larger payouts.

In just under 1.5 hours of installing Money Rawr, I was able to earn about $1.36 after installing some games and getting the install bonus credits.

However, the earning difficulty increases with time and you will need to continue installing new apps and completing other offers to keep earning.

Once you have completed all the accessible offers, you may find earning points difficult until some new offers appear.

Most legitimate apps like Money RAWR pay little for playing games and that’s why they can’t be regarded as a serious way of making any money. But for small pocket change, they're not too bad.

What's the value of Money RAWR coins?

In Australia, 4999 points is equal to about $0.67AUD. This puts a coin's value at around $0.000134 per coin.

So if you're earning 100 coins per level (or minute), you are earning just over 1 cent per level/minute (depending on the mode your app is in).

There are minor discounts on higher payouts, but it's a very tiny discount.

What Information does Money Rawr ask for?

To get paid by Money RAWR, they ask for some information about you to check if you are a real person and to prevent fraud. So that you know exactly what is going to be expected, here’s a list of information I needed to provide.

To sign up and create an account, you will need to provide this information.

  • Age
  • Email
  • Gender

When you are ready to cash out to PayPal, for example, these additional pieces of information are requested.

  • Facial Video Verification
  • Email Address Verification
  • Linking your Paypal account.

It is important to note that you have to provide this to get paid, so if you feel that you don’t want to, best try another way of earning.

Money RAWR Earning Tips

If you're looking for some Money RAWR earning tips and tricks, I've compiled a small list of things I learned during my time using the app.

  • Play as much as you can in the first 24-48hrs after installing the app.
  • Only target all the high coin-value games.
  • Complete offers on the Offerwall.
  • Only launch games through Money RAWR to ensure tracking.
  • Refer a friend to earn 25% of their coins.

Feel free to share your tips too!

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (38)

Disclaimer: This article may contain referral links.

Surveys can be a great way of earning a bit of extra cash to pay for smaller things like gifts, Netflix/Spotify subscriptions and games. They can even help out with your weekly groceries!

Completing online surveys is easy for the most part. All you need is either a mobile phone, tablet or computer and a willingness to share your opinion.

Granted, not all survey websites are created equal. While there are some great ones out there, there are also some that have... let’s say... a mixed reputation.

Now, I think it’s necessary to say that the idea of earning money from surveys while you sit on the couch drinking a coffee (or something else 😉 ) sounds awesome, but don’t expect a big payday.

In fact, don’t expect to earn anywhere near what employment will pay per hour. Instead, think of it as earning a bit of pocket money or “beer money” (or wine money! 😁).

But anyway, enough of the intro. If you’re jumping into the paid survey world, you’re going to need to equip yourself with some tips and tricks to get the most out of them. So without further ado, here are my top 14 survey-taking tips!

1. Join Multiple Survey Panels

If you want to maximize the amount you earn and maximize the number of surveys that you can be a part of, you’re going to need to join multiple survey panels.

Another advantage of being on several sites is that it gives you the option to be pickier. You can aim for the surveys that pay the most for your time rather than grabbing any that come your way.

If you’re stuck as to which survey websites are best to try out, here are some that you could try. All these are legitimate and have large memberships.

  • PrizeRebel
  • SwagBucks
  • Prolific
  • Survey Junkie
  • PureProfile
  • Toluna Influences
  • OctopusGroup (Australian)

2. Be Honest

They say that honesty is the best policy, and it is... especially for survey panels. Your honesty can have a big impact.

Firstly, it assists with building your reputation. Some panels have a scoring system that works out how much they can trust you. One survey provider describes what their proprietary system does:

"to score and detect fraudulent behaviour among panellist through analysing data points, behaviour and patterns including speeding and straight-lining". - Cint

Secondly, answering honestly increases your likelihood of receiving more relevant and targeted surveys which you won’t get screened out of. This is as opposed to being blocked from surveys because the fraud system detected that you said you were 20 years old one time and 30 on the next survey.

Thirdly, entering false responses can have a significant impact on the accuracy of the survey results. Many dishonest answers can skew data, making it difficult for data analysts to draw meaningful conclusions from the results.

So really, honesty is a crucial part of online survey taking. If, however, a question is making you uncomfortable, that’s a different story - see the point on Consider Your Privacy below.

3. Do the Profile Surveys

This one is important. Usually, when you join a new survey panel, the first thing they ask you to do is to fill out and answer all the profile questions.

It’s very tempting to ignore them and jump straight into the surveys. However, I recommend you spend the time completing your profile as much as possible.

But why?

Because it affects what surveys you qualify for. Having a complete profile is essential for getting surveys that are tailored to your interests. They can then weed out the irrelevant ones which you may get rejected from.

This also means you have a higher chance of finishing most surveys sent to you rather than wasting time filling out half a survey that isn’t applicable to you, only to be disqualified before the end of it.

It may take some time to fill in your profile, but it’ll save you time in the long run.

4. Calculate the Time to Reward

If you’re aiming to maximize your earnings in the least amount of time, you must calculate how much you will be earning for the amount of time you’re putting into each survey.

Let’s look at an example of Swagbucks.

On SwagBucks, 100 SB is equal to $1.00 (We will ignore reward discounts). Therefore, a 15-minute survey that gives you 75 SB would be equal to $3 per hour.

SwagBucks Calculation
60 minutes ÷ 15 mins (survey time) = 4
4 × 75 (reward points) = 300
300 ÷ 100 (value of $1) = $3 p/hr

By calculating the hourly rate of a survey, you can work out which surveys pay you the most for your time.

Armed with this, you can go ahead and target the most rewarding surveys. You may discover some shorter ones actually pay better than the longer ones.

5. Be Quick!

Surveys have participant limits, so if you see a new one pop up and it has good pay, jump on it quickly!

This is especially the case with survey panels like Prolific which usually have small limits on the places available. They can be gone within an hour of the survey going live.

With this in mind, it’s also handy to set up notifications (if they have the feature). You’ll have much better chances of taking them before they expire.

6. Don't Cheat

You've seen that question for the 100th time.... you're sick of it and just want to hit anything a move on! 😡

Yep, it’s frustrating. But, as tempting as checking any box is, don’t do it.

Many survey panels are primed with checks and pattern detection algorithms designed to find people trying to cheat the system by entering nonsensical data.

ℹ️

I recently took on a study from a university that covered a sensitive issue. If people blindly went through that type of survey, it would affect the findings on an important issue.

Don't cheat surveys, you will get caught.

7. Refer a Friend

Many sites have a feature to refer your friends. Referrals are a quick and easy way to get bonus points or money for yourself and your friend!

Keep in mind, though, that likely not all your friends will appreciate being referred. Whoops, wrong John! 🤦‍♂️

Be selective! Only invite those who you think would love to try your survey panel.

👉

Read the conditions of any referral bonuses. Some advertise large sums like $20 per person. You may not receive that until they've completed a number of surveys themselves.

8. Consider your Privacy

Seriously. Keep this at the forefront of your mind. It’s not always “what brand do you like and why” questions.

Surveys can be very personal, even going into your medical history and other intimate details of your relationships and finances. If at any time you are uncomfortable with a question, leave the survey.

Be sure to read the Privacy Policy of the Survey Panel you are using and of the survey you are taking. Learn how your answers to questions will be used and how they will be shared and evaluated.

👉

Check if the survey keeps you anonymous, if it doesn't, I personally would not recommend proceeding with that type of survey.

9. Use Idle Time Wisely

One obvious thing you need for surveys is time.

Higher rewards often mean longer surveys. Surveys take anywhere from 5 minutes to upwards of 25 minutes to complete (I’ve even seen some that take 1 hour!) So how can you maximize your time without taking too much of it away from other things?

The key is to look for opportunities at idle times. As an example, times you might be idle could be while:

  • Watching a movie/TV series.
  • On a work lunch break.
  • Taking the bus, train or Uber.
  • Winding down before bed.
  • Waiting for an appointment or to pick up the kids.

📺

I personally like to take them when watching TV or streaming something. I can usually complete 2 or 3 surveys by the time I'm finished watching.

These are just some ideas. I’m sure you get the picture. If you do this, you won’t be taking away time from the necessary things to do surveys.

10. Use a Separate Email

Now, even though this is all the way down at tip 10, I highly recommend doing this because survey websites like to send you emails. These emails may notify you of new surveys you qualify for or just be pings to entice you back to the site.

Either way, if you join several websites, expect to be getting regular emails from them. That’s why I highly recommend creating an email address specifically for use with survey websites to keep them out of your main inbox.

😲

Another good reason - If a survey panel becomes compromised and data is publicly leaked, your profile information won’t be linked to your personal email address. It also means you can check sites like haveibeenpwned to see if any sites have been compromised specifically.

11. Don't wait to get your first reward

If you're trying out a survey website for the first time, try redeeming your reward as soon as you can. Why?

The reason is some people can face issues redeeming their rewards. Their credits will be deducted and their reward... goes missing.

This can be an issue on legitimate Survey Panels.

Sometimes it's system errors, sometimes it's a user typo and sometimes it's an overzealous fraud bot. Regardless, it's best to test the redemption process before building up a big balance.

It's sad to see reviews where users have built up big balances after weeks or months of surveys only then to go through a very frustrating redemption process.

Plus, who doesn't like getting a quick reward? 😊

12. Disable Ad Blockers (If needed)

Ad Blockers (such as uBlock Origin) typically block advertisem*nts, cookies and scripts that track you. It helps you have a little privacy and stop that one thing you Google'd from following you around on every site you visit thereafter 😒.

You might be thinking, but didn't you just say Consider your Privacy? Yep, I know... saying disable ad blockers sounds like a contradiction, but I'll explain.

As good as they are, they can conflict with surveys. Sometimes they can stop them from loading and prevent media from displaying. In the worst-case scenario, they can stop you from getting credited.

My advice is to try surveys with your blocker still enabled and see if they work, but if you're facing problems, temporarily disable it for the problematic survey. Some websites may show a warning when the blockers might cause problems. For example, PrizeRebel displays a warning stating "Ad blockers can stop you from receiving credit when you complete surveys or offers!".

So this is something to check if you're facing problems.

13. Turn off your VPN (If you use one)

If you’re not sure what a VPN (Virtual Private Network) is, you’re probably not running one. Essentially, VPNs are used to hide your location and, to a varying degree, your identity.

Using VPNs often causes issues completing surveys, as they will trigger fraud detection systems that check your “supposed” location against the information you enter into surveys, as one example.

Some survey panels keep track of VPN proxy networks and block you from their services upfront.

Best turn them off before completing a survey or else you run the risk of being flagged by the system and possibly banned for being in breach of terms.

14. Take Advantage of Offers and Tests

The last tip of this guide is to take advantage of any extra methods of earning the survey panel offers. Not all sites offer these things, but check for:

  • Video surveys
  • Interviews
  • Product testing & reviews
  • Offers to download games & apps
  • Scanning receipts
  • Watching videos
  • Quick polls
  • Cashback programs

Earlier, I also mentioned referring as another good way, so don't forget that one!

The more features you take advantage of, the more you could potentially earn.

I hope you've found these tips and tricks useful and hope they can help you get more rewards from completing surveys.

If you have some of your own tips for doing surveys, feel free to drop me an email and share your ideas! 😁

Imagine being paid to read the news? Kind of a crazy idea right? I mean, after reading all the covid-19 and other related news over the past 2 years our wallets would be overflowing!

Funzine, an App for Android claims that it will pay you the big bucks just to read news articles. Is the Funzine app real or fake?

In this small review, I'll see if it really lives up to its advertised claims.

What is Funzine?

Funzine is an Android app marketed as a way to earn money by reading news and current affairs. It also has a mystery boxes that claim to allow you to win prizes like iPhones among other things.

Funzine is in a state of "Early Access" and is free to download from the Google Play store. You will need a device running at least Android 5.0.

Due to being an early access app, there is no visible rating, however, it sure has a lot of downloads at over 500k.

Review

I'll be honest, from the moment I saw this app I knew it was going to be a scam. It uses the same advertisem*nt template that is used for other fake apps.

Despite this, I'll give you a mini tour of the app so you can see it in action anyway.

When you first start up the app it will give you a so-called bonus and tell you what you need to do to earn more money, which as you already know, is apparently reading the news.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (40)

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (41)

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (42)

Sadly your only choice of news you can read is none other than Fox News. Its inbuilt web browser is atrocious and more often than not fails to load most news articles.

This doesn't matter however because the fake cash is only earned by leaving the app running and watching... you guessed it... ads, not reading news.

The app also has a "Gift" section where you can watch more ads to open blind boxes for pretend products you will never get... yaaay.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (43)

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (44)

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (45)

Lastly, once you've collected the minimum amount of play money you can start your fake redemption process. I didn't bother hanging around to collect the minimum $360 balance needed as it was taking too long when I started getting close to the $360.

If you've reached the point of actually redeeming your balance, they will ask you to enter your account email and do a pretend "confirmation". The app then tries one last attempt to get more money out of you by threating that you won't get your money unless you either watch more ads or pay them a "service fee" (don't do this).

Regardless of what you do, you won't get any money.

Bottomline

You will not earn anything from Funzine. Its claims of big dollars are made to pull you in, but those dollars are made of nothing but thin air. It's a duplicate of other fake earning apps like Tik Tube and likely made by the same developers.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (46)

Disclaimer: This article may contain some referral links.

In recent years, Netflix and other streaming services have exploded in popularity. Now more than ever, they are fighting for your subscription and your money. To do this, some have turned to making exclusive movies and TV series to encourage you to sign up for their services.

If you’re signed up to 3 or 4 streaming services, you’ll easily be laying down $50 or more per month and it adds up!

Even more recently, Netflix has increased its price while also releasing an ad-supported plan at a lower cost. So if you’re staring at your bills in frustration thinking, “How can I get Netflix cheaper?” or “is it possible to get Netflix for free?”... I know exactly how you feel. I’ve had the same thoughts.

The good news is there are some simple tricks you can use to reduce the cost of having Netflix at home and even possibly make Netflix free through offsetting. Let’s jump in!

1. Reduce Your Plan

This one is pretty much a given. Likely this is the first thing you may have looked at already. However, if you haven’t checked out the latest plans and made a comparison, this is the first thing you should do.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (47)

Netflix has recently introduced a new cheaper plan at $6.99 (AUD), but there’s a catch with this one! You’ll have to watch some advertisem*nts and the available library of movies is smaller.

Another thing to consider is the video quality. You might do well to ask yourself: Is 4K HDR or Full HD really necessary?

When considering this question, check whether your TV actually supports 4K. If it does not support 4K, the answer is simple - downgrade to 1080p.

Next, think about your TV size. If you have a smaller smart TV, perhaps below 55", you may find that a video resolution of 1080p actually still looks acceptable. I personally have a 65" TV and find 1080p still looks good from the couch.

If changing your plan isn’t a viable option, however, check out some of the other ways to save.

2. Split the Cost

This one largely depends on your living situation. If you’re sharing your accommodation/home with another person who is financially independent, why not pask them if they could split the cost with you?

If you’re able to split the cost over two or more people, you can significantly reduce your Netflix subscription cost month to month by 50% or more. It’ll be worth it if they agree!

⚠️

Please be aware however that the Netflix Terms of Service states that your account "may not be shared with individuals beyond your household unless otherwise allowed by your subscription plan".

3. Cycle Accounts

Do you ever find yourself spending ages just looking for things to watch on Netflix?

If you’re like me, I’ve spent up to an hour searching for something worth watching only then to run out of time to actually watch something!

If you find that is you, maybe it’s time to give Netflix a rest and cancel your subscription and perhaps try out one of the alternatives.

There are some great alternative premium streaming services, such as:

  • Amazon Prime
  • Binge
  • Disney+
  • Stan
  • BritBox

There are two benefits to doing this. The first is that occasionally Netflix sends you special offers or discounts to re-subscribe. Secondly, you're increasing your value for money and won't be paying for a subscription that you're not getting much out of.

4. Consider a Bundle

While this one might be the most difficult to do, you may also have the most to gain.

Internet Service Providers have ways to get the edge over their competitors by bundling in entertainment packages into their internet plans. The overall price of these plans can actually be quite reasonable.

For example, providers like Optus currently offer Netflix Standard as part of select internet plans.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (48)

If you compare what you’re currently paying for your internet and see if someone else is offering to bundle Netflix for the same price, you may just walk away a winner.

Though do keep in mind that if you’re going to spend $15 or more on a new plan to get Netflix included, it may not be a good deal.

Some providers might also have costs associated with you cancelling your internet contract and setting up a new one, so make sure you check all the terms and conditions to see if you’re actually getting a good deal.

5. Offset the Cost

Another great way to save is to offset the cost of your plan by earning enough money on the side to cover it, essentially making Netflix free for yourself.

One way you can do this is by completing online surveys for money. Some good survey websites you can try are:

  • Prolific.co
  • Swagbucks
  • OctopusGroup
  • Survey Junkie

The great thing about earning a few dollars with survey websites to pay for your monthly subscription is that you can complete them while you watch your favourite movies or TV series!

It's totally possible to earn enough each month with surveys to pay for your Netflix subscription.

6. Buy Discounted Netflix Gift Cards

Occasionally, various eGift Card websites, cashback sites and brick-and-mortar stores have discounts on their gift cards. Commonly, when sales do come up, you can save up to 5% - 20% on gift cards for Netflix (and other cards too).

You’ll need to keep looking out for them though because when these discounts come out, people can snap them up really quickly! Websites that sometimes run gift card promos are:

  • Prezzee
  • Giftz.com.au
  • Shopback
  • CashRewards

Don’t forget the actual stores though, occasionally Coles, Woolworths, Officeworks and others run promos on Gift cards as well.

These days it’s not easy finding a Netflix coupon or promo code. Back when Netflix was a new service, free trials and promo codes were much easier to come by, however now that they’ve been around for years, they rarely offer these.

Most promo codes are for new customers, so unless you’re trying Netflix for the first time, or creating another account, you probably won’t find a general-use discount coupon to save your money.

However, it doesn’t hurt to have a quick look. So do a quick Google search before you pay your next month’s bill to see if there is a working coupon floating around.

8. Consider Alternatives

The last suggestion is to cancel your Netflix subscription and switch to a cheaper or free alternative. There are HEAPS of streaming services these days and you’re bound to find something you like.

For example, Amazon Prime can be purchased for a year at a discounted price of $59.00. Disney Plus also offers a yearly subscription for the price of 10 months.

However, while these options are great, many movies and TV series are also available on free streaming services such as:

  • 7Plus
  • 10Play
  • SBS On Demand
  • ABC iView
  • Nine Now
  • Tubi
  • Kanopy

You can then use services like JustWatch to find where movies and tv series are available and on which apps you can find them. If you have an Android TV, you can even install all these apps on your TV itself, making them a great alternative to paid subscriptions.

Final Word

At the end of the day, as the costs of living increases, it’s always good to consider what value you’re getting out of services like Netflix.

It’s very easy to "set and forget" subscriptions, and you may still be paying for them even while not getting much value for your money.

I hope you enjoyed this article and hope that it’s introduced you to some ideas you can implement to save some money.

Chemist Warehouse is one of Australia’s biggest pharmacy franchises. I’ve found it to be a great place to pick up some reasonable bargains from time to time.

But did you know Chemist Warehouse allows you to add a free sample product to your online order? If not, give this tip a go next time you make one!

Free product samples are a great way to try out products you’ve never tried or want to try without forking out the full amount.

They also make a great addition to a travel kit when you need to bring along mini-sized products. You could even throw them in a gift hamper if you're so inclined.

Here's a screenshot of what you can expect to find.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (50)

Eligibility

Unfortunately, you can't get a free sample with any order. There are a couple of requirements:

  • Order total must be $30 or over

  1. Visit the Chemist Warehouse website.
  2. Add at least $30.00 worth of other goods to your basket.
  3. Search the term "Samples" or visit the Samples Category
  4. Find a sample that interests you and click "Buy Now" on the item.
  5. On the product's page: verify that it is $0.00 then click "Add To Cart" as seen below.

These days both physical and online stores place a large emphasis on collecting data for building consumer trends to better market their products to you in a more targeted fashion.

Something that has appeared in recent years that assists in building consumer trends is the scanning of receipts and of purchased products. In exchange, you're usually offered a very small reward. There are some legitimate programs around which I intend to review in the future, however, not all are.

Mass Scanner is based on the idea of scanning products... sort of. Is Mass Scanner all that its ads claim it to be? Is legit or is it yet another fake earning app? That's the main question this article will answer.

Content Highlights

  • What is Mass Scanner?
  • Is Mass Scanner Legit?
  • Bottomline
  • Avoiding Fakes

What is Mass Scanner?

Mass Scanner is a GPT (Get Paid To) app for Android that's freely available for download from Google Play. The name is very generic, so in particular, I'm referring to the app developed by "Sunwear.Beem".

At the time of writing, Mass Scanner is marked as an Early Access app with a little over 5,000 downloads and there are no public reviews because of being in the Early Access state.

Mass Scanner claims that just by using it to scan the barcodes of products, you can make a bucket load of money and have it sent to your PayPal or CoinBase wallet among other various forms of payout methods.

Is Mass Scanner Legit?

No. Mass Scanner is another fake earning app that follows the exact formula of Tik Tube and other apps.

Despite the claims from the poorly scripted and translated ads. You will not see any money from Mass Scanner.

Mass Scanner is literally the same fake cash app as seen before in the likes of Vic Tube, Funzine and Tik Tube, just in a new skin with a different task.

You can earn the minimum 5000 points required for a payout in several minutes and you don't even need to scan anything, just keep clicking the floating icons and watch the forced ads.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (53)

When you go to redeem your hard 5 minutes of laborious clicking and watching of mind-numbing ads, you'll have the privilege of being told you need to watch more ads or else pay them $1.99 to get your money.

Bottomline

The bottom line is Mass Scanner is a fake cash app that should be avoided. Unless you like the thrills of messing with fake apps and scams, don't spend a moment of your time on Mass Scanner because you won't get that time back and you certainly won't see any returns.

Did you like this article? Want to see more like it? Say thanks and let me know by buying me a coffee!

Avoiding Fakes

It literally pays to avoid fake earning apps. So I have some simple questions you can consider when looking at new apps.

  • Is it in Early Access?
  • Does it make big payout claims?
  • Does it ask for money when you want to get paid?
  • Does it require little effort?

If it hits any or all of these points, it's very likely to be fake. One thing to always do is check for reviews or people outside the Google Play store. That will give you a good idea of whether or not to proceed using the app.

When it comes to making money online you have to always be wary of scams. It is always a good rule of thumb to look for reviews or comments about an app or website you're looking to make money from before sinking any time into it.

This time around I'm looking at Tik Tube, an app that claims that you can make $500 by watching some 30 ads! Is Tik Tube a scam or is it legit? Let's see!

What is Tik Tube?

Tik Tube is a free "early access" Android app that can be downloaded from the Google Play store.

Tik Tube plays short videos from Youtube Shorts and makes claims in its advertising campaigns that you can earn hundreds just by watching these videos.

So does it? Let's answer that right away.

⚠️

Note: There are two "Tik Tube" apps, the second goes under the same name, just without the space - "TikTube". They are virtually the same app.

Is Tik Tube Legit?

Tik Tube is not legit. Tik Tube is a fake cash app that goes as far as trying to scam you out of your money so you can get your cash "reward" - which you won't receive.

Straight from the outset, the claim of watching 30 short youtube videos for $500 is way too good to be true, and it is. You can easily rack up the 5000 needed points for the money, it took me about 10 minutes or less.

It is important to note that you don't actually even need to watch the videos. The only thing that generates points is watching advertising - this is because advertising is the only way the developers make money. The short videos are merely a distraction.

When you go to redeem your points it asks you for your account information. You can write whatever you like in this box because it won't validate it, and it makes sense because they don't intend on actually paying you anyway.

The next screen is really what makes it clear that it is a scam, it will ask you to watch another 20 videos in the next 24hrs or your payout will be invalidated.

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (55)

Alternatively, they ask you to pay them instead! (Please don't) $1.99 to get your supposed money, money which will never come.

Sadly though some have fallen victim to this app and paid their "servicing fee" only to learn they've been scammed.

Check out some comments from other people who tried Tik Tube on TrustPilot...

<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (58)

Bottomline

Tik Tube is a fake GPT (Get Paid To) app that takes your time and money (if you give it). If you've already been using it, best uninstall it and waste no more time on it.

Tips to Spot a Fake

How can you spot fake earning/cash apps? Keep some of these points in mind when you're looking to try out a new app.

  • Check it's not an "Early Access" app. Early Access is a feature for app developers to get private feedback. This is perfect for scams as reviews are hidden.
  • High payouts for little effort. Almost all legit GPT apps do not pay much. If an app claims to pay hundreds or thousands you can definitely consider it a fake.
  • Check TrustPilot or search reviews. Unless the app only just came out, it's more than likely someone has said something about it. Check for reviews on popular, trustworthy websites. Don't automatically trust positive Google Play reviews, fake reviews are often purchased by scammers.
  • Asking for Credit Cards or purchases. If an app is designed to make you money, it should not be asking you to pay them instead.
  • Check the developer's credibility. If you can, check what other apps the developers have made and the reviews on them.

If you get stuck wondering if an app is legit or fake, the best choice is to just uninstall it and try something else.

Coming off the back of the JustPlay app review, I found another app that surprisingly looked quite similar to it - this app is called PlaySpot. Is PlaySpot a legitimate "play to earn" app or is it a scam? In this review, I'm going to share my thoughts on this app and see if PlaySpot is worth the time and effort. I'll also be looking at the expected earnings and the things I liked and did not like about PlaySpot. Let's dive in!

Content Highlights

  • What is PlaySpot?
  • Is PlaySpot Legit or a Scam?
  • How Much Can I Earn?
  • My Experience
  • What I liked / What I Didn't Like
  • Bottomline
  • Apps Similar to PlaySpot

What is PlaySpot?

PlaySpot is an Android mobile app that pays you to play games. From those games, you collect reward points which can then be "cashed out" for real money through PayPal or redeemed for vouchers for Amazon or the Google Play store.

PlaySpot is very similar to JustPlay, so if you've used that before, this will feel very much the same. In fact, it has many of the same games to play as well.

PlaySpot is free to download and use. It doesn't require registration to get started and all the featured games are also free to play.

Apple doesn't allow these types of apps, so if you're looking for an iOS version of this you won't find it. PlaySpot is designed to work with at minimum Android 5 and newer.

Is PlaySpot Legit or A Scam?

Use caution. The answer to this question isn't so straightforward. Because earning points was so slow, I haven't yet been able to earn enough with PlaySpot to cash out and verify if they do in fact pay out. I've noted that some users of the app have painted a rather mixed picture, some saying they do pay, whereas a number of others say they don't.

So beyond what people say about it, I've looked around for other clues. I've noted some additional things you would do well to consider.

  • PlaySpot's website is completely defunct and its Terms Of Use page is non-existent.
  • They know their website is defunct because they have a domain specifically for displaying the Privacy Policy (as linked in the Google Play Store).
  • The developer behind PlaySpot is Soft Baked Apps GmbH. Using the Wayback Machine I was able to pull up the old, archived Terms of Use which states that they are the developer (See Below). Why is this important? It is the same company that pays out on behalf of JustPlay. But JustPlay actually pays out and appears legitimate (See the JustPlay Review).
<![CDATA[Dollar Seeker]]> (60)
  • PlaySpot has a sliding banner listing people and their cashout amounts. These banners are typically fake. I noticed that no one ever cashes out below $2o despite there being $5 options. I also noticed someone apparently cashed out "$22", which isn't actually possible according to the rewards that are offered🤔.

There are then the Google Play reviews on PlaySpot of which the majority are positive. PlaySpot has 4.3/5 stars from over 600,000 reviews as of writing, that's pretty astonishing. However! Turning to TrustPilot shows some users who never received their cashouts.

After all those points, I personally don't trust it much. But if I manage to get a payout soon, I'll update this review to reflect that. For now, all I can say is to be cautious and make your own assessment.

What Rewards Does PlaySpot Offer?

After collecting a whole bunch of points from playing games you're going to want to cash them out for some REAL rewards. In Australia, these options are displayed:

  • Cashout to PayPal in the amounts of $5, $20, $50, $100 & $200.
  • Cashout to Amazon(.com.au) vouchers: $5, $20, $50, $100 & $200
  • Cashout to Google Play vouchers: $25, $50, $100, $200.

In order to cash out you'll need to build up the required points for them. At a minimum, you'll need 5000 points to get $5 via PayPal or Amazon.

How Much Can I Earn?

If you've got your eye on that $200 PayPal cash out, hold up there! I would really recommend spending your time elsewhere to earn that amount instead. It's going to take you a long time of grinding to get anywhere close to that. Many people have spent months saving up enough just to get the $20 voucher.

So what is the cash value of PlaySpot points? Since you need 5,000 points to get $5, the base conversion would be 1,000 points = $1.00. Which puts the value of a point at about $0.001. There are however discounts on the points needed for the higher-value vouchers.

How fast do you earn points? Each game rewards you differently and it depends on the game. Some of the featured games give you anywhere from 1 - 10 points per level. In some games, such as Ball Rush, you get more based on how long you last so it can be higher. In most of the games, however, you're going to be watching a lot of ads and that's where the biggest time sink is.

Ultimately how much you earn depends on how much time you've got to put into these games. Realistically though, if you're really looking to earn quickly, your time is probably going to be better spent elsewhere.

My Experience

I've had PlaySpot installed for about a week now. The app is easy to get started with. Like JustPlay, you don't need to register an account. You can install it, then install a few offered games advertised and your point balance will be ticking over in no time.

When I first started up PlaySpot, it gave me a bonus of 1,000 points (About $1 in value) - which I thought was nice. Looking at the list of "Featured" games I immediately noticed they were pretty much all the same ones as those offered by JustPlay, which makes sense given they are associated.

PlaySpot's interface is simple and pretty much self-explanatory. I was not impressed with the sliding banner up to the top with recent cashouts which to me is clearly fake - nor did I like that force refreshing the app triggered watching a video.

PlaySpot also has a concept of user "Levels". You start on the Junior level and when you reach 9000 points you are upgraded to Pro level. The main advantage of being Pro is that you get "higher payouts". I guess that's a goal to shoot for if you plan on keeping this app around. Though just how much of a higher payout remains to be said.

The games themselves are nothing to get exiting over, most of them a relatively simple puzzle games that you will probably get bored with after a while unless you seriously love puzzle games.

💎

Almost all games made by Soft Baked Apps will give you points in PlaySpot even if they are not listed in the "Featured" games list, so check out their developer page on Google Play for some other games to play.

Other than the featured games there is also the Offerwall where you can mix things up and play some longer games for higher rewards. Each game offered on the Offerwall will have its own set of requirements (Like reaching a specific level) for you to earn your points reward so be sure to read them before installing the games. Keep in mind the requirements may take days or weeks to achieve before you see a reward for your efforts.

⚠️

Note: Games from the "offers" section need to be launched from within PlaySpot or progress may not be tracked properly.

Other than the Offerwall and the featured games, you can also earn points by watching videos. The first video is worth 200 points, and then every video thereafter only gives you 2 points, which hardly seems worth it.

So let's get down to what things I liked and did not like.

What I Liked

  • No account/registration is required.
  • Featured games are easy to play.
  • Points are redeemable for Google Play gift cards.
  • Points needed are discounted for high-value gift cards.

What I Didn't Like

  • Terms of Use have been removed.
  • Frequent notifications are annoying.
  • The video watching reward went from 200 points to 2 points.
  • Fake sliding "cashed" out banner.
  • Featured games can get repetitive.
  • Featured games' point rewards are really low.

Bottomline

PlaySpot is a little sketchy and the rewards for playing a somewhat poor. If you have time to spare it might be best spent on other ways to make money.

While the featured games are simple to play, they get repetitive quickly so earning the low number of reward points offered really feels like a grind. The "Pro" upgrade for getting to 9000 points is a nice goal but seems a bit out of reach for those just starting out.

I doubt I'll continue to use this, but I may keep PlaySpot around just to verify the cashout claims. After that, I think I'll be uninstalling this, it's just too slow and unrewarding to keep it around so I personally wouldn't recommend it. If you're deciding between JustPlay and PlaySpot, I'd recommend JustPlay unless you want to do the double rewards trick (below).

PlaySpot Earning Tips

Earning points for PlaySpot is slow, and if you insist on trying it I only have a few tips for you.

  • Always launch the games from the PlaySpot app.
  • Complete as many offers on the "Offer" page as you can for the best earnings.
  • Try out different "Featured" games, some reward you with more points than others.

💡

Double Rewards Trick
I do have one little trick though. If you install both JustPlay and PlaySpot and install "Featured" games that appear on the dashboards of both apps (e.g Hexagon Match) you can earn points for both apps at the same time! For each level of Hexagon Match I completed, I got 3 points with PlaySpot and 4000 points with JustPlay.

Apps Similar to PlaySpot

Since I personally don't think PlaySpot is a good choice to earn money with, I'd recommend checking out some different apps or alternative ways to make money online or with your mobile. Some other similar apps to PlaySpot are:

  • JustPlay
  • Mistplay
  • Coin Pop

The first time I heard of JustPlay was from ads appearing while I was playing some other mobile games. Like most ads for money-making apps, it was super cheesy (though not the worst I've seen around), and less than believable. But in this JustPlay app review, I'm giving it an honest go to see what it's all about and I'm going to answer those egging questions – Is it legit? Does JustPlay pay? Can I earn decent money or is it a waste of time? Can I cash out every 3 hours?

Overview

What is JustPlay?

JustPlay is a mobile app in which you get paid to play games. From those games, you collect points which can then be "cashed out" for real money for yourself or, if you're feeling generous, you can also donate that money to one of a select few charities. So far JustPlay is only available on Android 7 and newer, no iOS version sorry!

If you've played other GPT (Get-Paid-To) play games apps it's similar to the likes of Mistplay but more simple in both design, function, and offerings... which may or may not be something you're looking for.

JustPlay is free to download and use. It doesn't require registration to get started and only requires a few pieces of information to cash out earnings.

Is JustPlay Legit?

To cut to the chase, yes! JustPlay appears to be legitimate and does what it claims. I was able to successfully cash out to my PayPal account and I received the money very quickly. Looking at reviews around it appears many others have reported the same.

As of writing the app has an average rating of 4.4/5 with over 5 million downloads. While JustPlay has mostly positive reviews, there are some frustrated players with issues contacting support, not getting their payout, or venting about small earnings.

While researching reviews, I noticed there was a little confusion on TrustPilot. There appears to be another brand unrelated to this app which also goes under the name of "JustPlay". Unfortunately, some users haven't noticed the difference and have left both positive and negative reviews on their page instead, whoops!

What rewards does JustPlay Offer?

Dedicating a bit of time to playing games that JustPlay offers will net you some in-app money. After building up a balance you can choose to do several things with it and these depend on where you live. In Australia, I could:

  • Withdraw the balance via Paypal.
  • Withdraw the balance as an Amazon(.com.au) Gift Card.
  • Redeem the balance as a Gift Card via RewardLink
  • Donate the balance to one of a few select charities.

⚠️

Note: There are some minimum requirements - You'll need a minimum balance of $2 to cash out via Paypal and a minimum of $1 to cash out with an Amazon Gift Card. Cashing out will typically require an email address, your name and your residential address. You may also be required to video verify your face, so keep those details in mind if you're privacy savvy.

How much can I earn?

A free lunch each week? Seriously though, the pay is fairly low and I wouldn't sink serious time into this. If you play at least a few hours each day you can probably expect several bucks by the end of the week, but don't have high expectations.

So what is the cash value of JustPlay points? Well, this is probably the biggest issue with this app – you have no idea how much your game points are worth until they are calculated every 3 hours. I suspect the value of points may depend on several secret factors. The value of 1 point could be $0.000002 one moment and $0.000005 the next, you simply won't know and that is a pretty big bummer to me since you could spend hours and be rewarded poorly for it.

Now I'd like to point out something I noticed. Before my first withdrawal, the value of my collected points certainly seemed higher, watching a video was worth 10,000 points and PayPal did not have a $2 minimum requirement as I was able to cash out before that. Afterwards, however, the $2 minimum was enforced, and it seemed much slower to earn money than before - not great.

My Experience

I've been playing with JustPlay for about 2 weeks now. I found the app super easy to use after installing it from the Google Play store. There was no registration required and it had a few tutorial hints on how the app worked to start with.

My initial impression of JustPlay was that it appeared neat, clean and appealing. There were no annoying ads on the main interface that got in the way and obscured functionality and it was pretty clear what I needed to do next - install and play games. I've found other similar apps can have too many features that can make them a little confusing to navigate or know exactly what to do next, JustPlay is not one of them.

On the dashboard of the app, there is a list of "Featured" games to play, these ones appear to be created specifically for JustPlay, which isn't a bad thing. All the featured games are pretty quick to install and easy-to-play puzzle-based games. I rather took a liking to Treasure Master, Merge Blast & Mad Smash to waste away a few minutes here and there.

The one issue though with the featured games is that they can start feeling like a grind. They're a bit too simple and there's not much of a feeling of progress in them.

If you like to really get into your mobile games, you'll definitely want to head over to the "Offers" section to download one of the games in there instead. Like most other Offerwalls, you'll get paid in points to download and play games, but you'll usually need to complete some requirements in order to be rewarded, such as reaching a certain level - this can take days or weeks of playing though!

⚠️

Note: Games from the "offers" section need to be launched from within JustPlay or progress may not be tracked.

Moving on, there was another way to earn some bonus points by watching videos. Unfortunately for me, there didn't seem to be that many videos to watch and it only worked about half the time.

Finally, after 3 hours and for every 3 hours after, I get a giant colourful notification telling me I've got money to cash out, YAY! (this notification got a bit annoying after a few days, boo). Cashing out was pretty easy as well, after filling in a few personal details and a video verification my balance was transferred to PayPal - the whole process of which took maybe 1-2 minutes. There was no delay in payment which I was pretty happy about.

So now that I've tried everything I think there is to try, here are my final likes & dislikes.

What I Liked

  • No account/registration is required.
  • Featured games are easy to play.
  • Clean, modern and straightforward interface.
  • Donating your earnings to charities was a nice surprise.
  • The minimum value to cash out is low.

What I Didn't Like

  • Earnings seem to drop after the first cashout.
  • Featured games can get repetitive.
  • The value of earned points appears random with no indication of worth.
  • Sometimes there are no available videos to watch.

Bottomline

JustPlay is a legitimate way to make a few dollars on the side if you have time to spare, but don't expect good earnings for your time because point values fluctuate to low amounts randomly. The point "Goal" is a nice touch to give you something to aim for, but without knowing how much you're earning it feels a bit dead in the water.

The featured games will likely get repetitive after some time with little replay value, but the Offers section can mix things up. JustPlay is pleasing to the eye, straightforward to use and there is a low barrier to cash out which is awesome, however, your earnings are only calculated (by some secret formula) every 3hrs so your in-app balance only updates at those times. Another plus is giving your cash to a few select charities, which not all other apps offer.

Despite its flaws, I quite enjoyed giving JustPlay a go. Its got some things right, but its negatives let it down. If you love simple puzzle games and have a bit of spare time each day then this might be your cup of tea. Will I continue to use it? Probably not, but I'd probably revisit it in the future. Give it a shot and see if it sticks for you.

JustPlay Earning Tips and Tricks

Just some little tips and tricks for JustPlay to take note of if you're having a go at this.

  • Always launch games from the JustPlay app.
  • Complete offers on the "Offer" page to earn the most points.
  • The longer you play some games, the harder it is to earn points so keep installing and playing new games.
  • Treasure Master is a fast point earner. Video ads only seem to show on the "Game Over" screen.
  • There are more "Featured" games than what is shown, most games by "Gimica GmbH" on the PlayStore pay you points.
  • Mix up your sources of points by completing an easy offer (Like a quiz), playing a couple of games and watching a video. I seemed to get better money for my points when doing this, but this could have been a fluke.
  • I found Ball Rush more enjoyable than other featured apps, and it pays points fairly ok. You will need to install this from the Google Play Store yourself as it's not shown in the JustPlay app.

If JustPlay isn't your speed you may want to check out some of these apps that also allow you to earn money by playing games on your phone.‌ ‌‌
